General overview
Mapleton is located about an hour south of Salt Lake City, an hour from Park City and just 10 minutes from Provo. We live In a beautiful neighborhood, with quick access to the freeway. Explore family friendly Utah County, with lots of hikes, museums, parks, etc. Head to Moab (home of Arches National Park) for a day trip (just under 3 hours from my home) or enjoy all Utah and Salt Lake Counties have to offer!
The space
We have a basement apartment that is fully furnished. It has one bathroom, a full kitchen and laundry unit, and 2 bedrooms (one queen bed and one triple bunk bed), plus a living space. We’d love to open our apartment to anyone who would love to visit and explore Utah!
3 houses down there is a pickle ball court, and just up the street a beautiful bike/walking path that takes you from one canyon to the next.

Neighbourhood
There are so many family friendly activities in Utah county and salt lake county. Lots of hiking, many splash pads and hikes, etc. We enjoy going to Thanksgiving Point, especially in the spring to attend the Tulip Festival. They have many venues for children there including a Butterfly Biosphere where you can go hold butterflies. We love going to Hogle Zoo and venturing out to Antelope Island and The Great Salt Lake.
Getting to my home
You will need to a car drive to our home. Uber or Lyft might also be available.
Nearest airport
Provo is the nearest airport, but Salt Lake City is the most affordable.

My husband and I have 5 young children between the ages of 5 and 10. We homeschool and have the option of remote work when needed. We love to go in family trips and are also looking forward to taking the kids on one-on-one adventures.
