General overview
We love to travel but we always love coming back home to our charming brick tudor located in S. Seattle. It is 10min from Coulon Beach, 90min from the slopes, a few hours from Canada.
We have a beautiful plot of land with garden beds, a deck, 6 person hot tub and a view of Lake Washington.
The space
We have a 4 bedroom 2.5 bathroom home. We're a no shoes household, so please remove shoes at the entrance. Regarding the layout, two of the bedrooms are upstairs, one is used as the master bedroom (King bed) and one is the kids bedroom with 2 low to the ground bunk beds (4 twin beds). One bedroom on the main floor (Queen bed) There is one additional bedroom (queen bed) and full bathroom in our finished basement that also has a jungle gym for kids or adults looking for an indoor workout!
And while we don't have TVs in every room (only one in the basement bedroom) we do have a projector and large remote controlled screen that you can connect to your laptop to stream shows and movies.
Out back there is a shed that has been converted to a tiny house. There is a day bed, loft bed and closet that can be used as an additional room or a work space. If my mom isn't traveling with us or on her own, she will be using the tiny house.
Guest access
There are 3 floors. Front door opens to main floor and stairs provide access to the 2nd floor and basement.
Notes
Depending on the season there may be some plant care needed.

Neighbourhood
The area is mixed income. To the west there are more modest homes and to the east there are larger homes. Our home falls somewhere in the middle.
There are a few schools and parks that are walking distance. But it is a mostly drivable area.
Getting to my home
Best to rent a car or discuss a potential car exchange.
The light rail stop is about 10min from our house and also has a stop at the airport.
Nearest airport
Sea-Tac is 15-20min away.

We’re a family of 6, sometimes 7 or even 8! My husband and I have 4 kids. My mother lives with us, and will sometimes travel with us, we also usually have an au pair who will travel as well.
We have traveled all over the world with our kids since they were babies. And hope to continue doing so as they become even easier to travel with. We have run short term rentals and understand how to be good stewards of the spaces we occupy and spaces we provide for others.
We want to see as much of the world as possible, aside from places where family live we try not to visit the same place twice. We want our kids to know we live in a big world and to learn to love/accept everything this planet has to offer.
