5/5 stars for Lisa, her home, the town, and her dogs. Everything was perfect! Lisa is lovely and funny, a great communicator, and I'm looking forward to meeting her in person one day soon. Her home is spectacular. I've lived in a few different homes in Mexico and this one is next level. It's not just beautiful, it's functional -- there's even filtered water! I really enjoyed the garden patios on three different levels. The rooftop one is especially inviting, with views of the mountains, the church, and Mexico's largest lake. Even better, the house is located right in Centro; you can walk to everything you need, but it's also very private. Ajijic is very special. Finally, I have to mention that if you are lucky enough, you might get a chance to take care of her dogs. Lucy and Bailey are so sweet and fun. I made many friends in town who wanted to say hi to them when we were out for our walks. I hope to get another opportunity to stay at Lisa's home very soon. Thank you, Lisa!

What a lovely week we have had in Ajijic. Lisa's house is very centrally located in the city centre, which means that both the lake, restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. And then we have to highlight Lisa's house. What a lovely experience. The house is decorated with so many rooms and terraces that we certainly did not discover everything. Lisa's sense of detail flows throughout the house, and we have definitely been inspired to decorate our own holiday home in Spain. We were also lucky to meet Lisa, and look forward to welcoming her to Copenhagen. So don't hesitate if you get the opportunity to do a home exchange here in Ajijic

Lisa's wonderful home is one of those places where you feel right at home from the moment you land foot on the garden. It is well appointed, cosy and beautifully decorated. The outdoor spaces are perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner or an evening drink and the cocktail pool is perfect for a dip. Ajijic is a small town but has lots to offer and many restaurants, bars and cafés to spend your day doing nothing, yet feeling as though you've done something! Lisa was super welcoming and organising the exchange was very easy thanks to her flexibility. We met up when we arrived in Ajijic and she very kindly organised a fantastic welcome dinner at a friends'. Lastly, Lisa's dog, Bailey, is the joy of the house. He is very friendly, well-trained and loving. Even though you do not have to petsit him, you will definitely pet him as he is so cute. Another successful and unforgettable experience and trip thanks to PLU and Lisa!

Lisa's home is a dream. It felt like we were staying in something between a botanical garden and a folk art museum. The house is decorated beautifully with interesting art, fabulous details, gorgeous views and so many beautiful plants. It was an oasis for us. Additionally, it was spacious and comfortable. We utilized both bedrooms and both beds were comfortable with soft sheets. Despite being in the heart of the city, it wasn't very noisy. The house stayed cool in the heat and there were plenty of ceiling fans and lights throughout the home. The description and photos were true to reality and we were very happy with the exchange. For our first PLU exchange, it set the bar quite high.

**Review for Home Exchange with Lisa** Our stay at Lisa's home was nothing short of magical! Her beautiful abode feels like a serene blend of a day spa and an art museum, creating a peaceful atmosphere that we adored. Each morning, we enjoyed coffee on the stunning rooftop patio, soaking in views of the city under a perfect blue sky. The city itself is a treasure—so walkable and family-friendly, with endless activities for kids. From delightful boat rides across the lake to horseback riding and a fantastic hot springs waterpark just a short drive away, there was never a dull moment. Lisa was an incredibly gracious host, attending to every detail with care. She even arranged transportation for us to the airport for our early morning flight, which was a lifesaver. Our family made wonderful memories during our stay, and we couldn't recommend Lisa and her home more highly!

Lisa's home in Ajijic is a lovely oasis in the middle of the beautiful village of Ajijic. It is quite large and fully equipped with everything you may need. Communication was very easy and comfortable and her "assistant" Javier was so incredibly helpful and kind. There are so many amazing and affordable dining options, it is hard to choose not to go out! However, her kitchen is well set up for making a lovely meal. Her top floor mirador has lovely views of Lake Chapala as well.

We had a fabulous exchange at Lisa's house in Aijijic! The house is super comfortable with lots of indoor and outdoor seating areas. The place is super clean and well thought out. There was nothing that we needed that Lisa didn't have. Lisa even set up the coffee maker so we only had to push start when we arrived at 6 am!! The house is really really well located. We did not have a car and could walk to everything in the town. There are many good restaurants within a 1-5 min walk. There are grocery stores, liquor stores, pharmacies and cute places to shop really close by. Lisa has a great house book with lots of recommendations. We took at day trip to Tlaquepaque which was really fun. We got there by taxi and back by Uber. It was easy. We highly recommend a stay at Lisa's house. She is a great communicator and you will have a wonderful stay!

What a privilege it was to stay at Lisa's casa! It was pure luxury and a lovely way to explore a new part of Mexico. The town is delightful, we felt so safe and people were so lovely to our baby! The photos really don't do Lisa's place justice, it is absolutely magical and we were only pulled away from her rooftop to eat out... We really didn't want to leave! It was nice to have her handyman check up on us and Lisa was always available to answer any questions we had. The only call out I would have is that the streets of Ajijic are in very bad shape (this is explained in the house description), it would be a struggle to get around with a stroller or wheelchair etc.. we had to abandon our stroller and just carry the baby around, although it didn't change how much fun we had! Thank you Lisa for such an amazing family vacation Lisa, we won't forget it!! Xx

Lisa in Amazing host, and her home is equally as amazing! Without exaggeration, Lisa’s home is the most beautiful home I have ever stayed in. The location is so perfect, easy walk to everything, and the views from the rooftop terrace are nothing short of incredible, with the lake on one side in the mountains on the other. Beautiful view of the church, even from the master bedroom window. Pool! Fully equipped kitchen. Sparkly Clean. I have done a lot of home exchanges over the years, and this was by far my favorite one.
