Our sandstone house in Glasgow’s trendy southside was built in 1905 but has recently been renovated and extended into a light filled contemporary family home.  The house has four bedrooms (one with a sofa bed) and three bathrooms.  The downstairs is open plan with a large kitchen, diner, living room.  There is also a handy utility.  The living room has a cosy log burner.  The garden is landscaped with a gorgeous BBQ deck.

Neighbourhood

The Southside of Glasgow is a trendy, creative place to live with lots of excellent bars, restaurants and cafes.  The area is very family friendly with great parks and playgrounds.  Its very easy to get into central Glasgow and the cities West End.  Glasgow is also an excellent base for exploring Scotland.  Edinburgh is less than an hour away by train and we sit at the gateway to Loch Lomond, the Trossochs and Highlands and Islands
