General overview

We are a family of four with a 2 bedroom cottage in Thirroul, one of the northern suburbs of Wollongong.

The space

We have a large deck with daybed with ocean views. A variety of birds visit the deck as we have a large block with adjoining bush. There is a queen bed in one room and a bunk bed in the second room. One bathroom and a second bathroom in the laundry under the house if required. The kitchen has been nearly renovated and is an absolute pleasure to cook in. Lots of gadgets including a coffee machine and air fryer. We have an indoor cat, Squiggy, who would be in attendance. She is a Cornish Rex (low allergy) and loves attention.

Guest access

Stairs to access both front and back doors. Off-street parking for 2-3 vehicles. Please note, we are located on a busy road but we have double glazing for that reason. Friendly neighbours can help out where needed.

Neighbourhood

10 minute walk to Thirroul village where there are lots of cafes and restaurants. 20 minute walk to the closest beach. Bus stop is nearby where you can get pretty much anywhere. So much to do - amazing beaches, ocean pools, bush walks, bike rides. Lots of incredible day trips including Berry, Bowral and Sydney.

Nearest airport

Sydney Airport is 1 hour drive north. There is a train to the airport, and the closest station is a 10 minute walk.

Getting around

Closest supermarket is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive. Lots of food shopping options nearby.
