Neighbourhood
Nestled in the quaint wooded area of Harrington Park, NJ, our home feels like it is far from city life. However, you can travel to Manhattan in just under 30 minutes.
Our small town has just one convenience store, and one restaurant, but the next town over has all your shopping needs. Wildlife is abundant - you may see deer, bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks on our property.
By car you can get to Manhattan in about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. You can also take the train or bus (which is much better because then you do not have to look for parking.)
We also have a huge assortment of bicycles (adult bikes, kid bikes, tricycles) for your use.
Certainly the great draw is New York City. However, if you want to relax with your children there is a playground that is 2 blocks away and there are tennis courts 3 blocks away. You can enjoy lots of beautiful hiking in the area – there are several nature centers and the Palisades are only 15 minutes away. You can picnic on the Hudson River with a distant view of N.Y.C. at the Alpine Boat Basin.
If you love to shop, we’re 25 minutes away from the 19th largest mall in the U.S (Garden State Plaza) and 15 minutes from the 11th largest mall (Palisades Center)
We are super excited to share our home with you!
