Neighbourhood

We are located in an area consisting mainly of mountain cabins and nature. To get to shops and other services you will need to drive down to the valley, about 10 minutes.

Nearest airport

We are a bit less than two hours north of Oslo International airport. From there you will need a car. If we do a car exchange, you could also take the train to Lillehammer and meet up there.

Getting Around

A car is necessary. There is a quite steep driveway up to our cabin, so in the winter you will ned a 4wd. We are happy to do a car exchange if circumstances are right.

Laila

We are a family of four with two boys age 16 and 18, with a desire to explore the world! We love the traditional recipocal exchanges, where we can get to know our exchange partners, live like lokals in their home town, and maybe have a little chat with their neighbours from time to time. We also like the flexibility of the globes! We are exchanging both our large lake view house in the countryside outside Oslo, and also our skiing chalet in Hafjell, Lillehammer, so we are somewhat flexible and can do both simultanous and non - sim exchanges. We are however only able to travel in school holidays.
