Neighbourhood

Our street has a laundromat, three late night grocery/general stores and newsagent, post office and restaurants as well as a couple of very good yoga/Pilates type studios. Right around the corner is one of the most vibrant streets in London, packed full of great bars, coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. We also have a library and a lovely park to walk or run in (or you can play tennis or putting or just sit with a coffee and people watch). We even have an M&S food store which is a great place to shop. A 7min bus takes you to a large supermarket and also to walk along the Grand Union canal which is lovely. Or ride a bit longer and you can visit Portobello or Notting Hill. Another few minutes and you’ll be delivered right into the huge Westfield White City mall with a huge choice of stores and some great restaurants. They have bowling, kidzania and an Izakaya too.

Nearest airport

Heathrow. The Heathrow express (15mins) goes to Paddington from where you can grab the tube to Queens Park (less than 10mins). You can take the tube direct to Heathrow which is under an hour. Alternatively Ubers are plentiful. I can prebook a cab for around £35-£40 each way.

Getting around

Queens Park station is less than a 5min walk and the Bakerloo line will take you into the West End for theatres and sightseeing and to Euston or Paddington mainline stations to travel around the country. There is an overground trainline there which you can use too.
