General overview
Our cosy family home is located in Dassendorf, which is a 40 minute ride by car or public transportation to the city centre of Hamburg. There is a lot to do around here: You can either enjoy the city, drive up to the baltic sea or discover the nature: The biggest forest of northern Germany is right behind our garden, a little door takes you there. There is also a public pool nearby, as well as a Zoo, historic trains, indoor playgrounds, and lots more!
Our house is lovingly designed and very well equipped: from all kinds of spices to a waffle maker, from bath tub toys to several Duplo boxes - you will find everything you need.
We have a pleasant living room, where you can relax in front of the fireplace or watch a movie on Netflix or elsewhere. Since we love to cook, the kitchen is well equipped and on the terrace Is a premium gas grill. We can offer 3 double bed rooms. Be our first guest - we would love to have you!
The space
Our home is located next to the forests of the Sachsenwald . Open the gate at the end of the property and you are already standing in the biggest forest of northern Germany.
You can expect 3 bedrooms with comfortable, new mattresses.
Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed of 1.80 x 2m. Bedroom 2 surprises with a 2.70m wide family bed, which has an attached baby bed.
Bedroom 3 is our son's bedroom with a single bed of 80 x 200, which can be pulled out to a double bed of 1.60 x 2 m.
All bedrooms can be darkened for a restful sleep. There is also no traffic noise, only the chirping of the birds and the tranquility of the forest.
In addition to the 3 bedrooms, there is also a large bathroom on the 1st floor with a view in the forest, equipped with a spacious rain shower and a bathtub. Sufficient towels will be available for you.
Downstairs the 40m² living room invites you to relax. Whether reading or watching a film on the couch or in front of the fireplace. The large dining table made of solid oak offers you space for meals together with a view in the garden.
On the terrace you will find another seating area for up to 8 people, a large Weber BBQ gas grill (Spirit E-325S GBS) and a lounger surrounded by flowers. For the little ones there are two playhouses on the lawn and a mud kitchen within sight of the terrace.
On the other side of the house there is a forest area where a playground will be built in summer 2022 and other paths will be laid out. Due to this "construction site" it can therefore look a bit desolate for a short time, you can find a current picture in the picture gallery. Since we work here ourselves, everything rests while you are here.
The kitchen offers you all the technical equipment you could wish for: the latest Thermomix model, a quiet dishwasher, a stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a kettle, a toaster and a Soda Stream water bubbler with glass bottles. Two Triptrap children's chairs are also available.
Thanks to fiber optics, you have the fastest WiFi anywhere in the house and, thanks to 3 Alexas/Bose boxes, music if you want.

Neighbourhood
We live in a lovely and handsome neighbourhood.
The semi-detached house is all yours while you are here.
We live in a dead-end street directly in front of the Sachsenwald.
You can either park in the garage forecourt or on the street.
Getting to my home
You can reach our house by car on the highway A25 or A1, from the airport it takes 60 minutes, to Hamburg City 30-40 minutes, Baltic Sea (1h), Berlin (2h).
The next metro station is in S-Aumühle. A Bus takes you there, the bus station is just down the street (3minutes).
We can also arrange that someone picks you up from the airport of Hamburg (HAM).

Getting around
Since we live in the suburb of Hamburg, you need a car to get around.
The next supermarket is in town, a 20 minute walk, there is also a pharmacy and a bakery but for anything else you should be mobile.
