Neighbourhood
We live in a small village on the outskirts of cork city. Close to the city, yet rural and peaceful in feeling. There are tennis courts within walking distance, you are very welcome to borrow our rackets for a game. We are a short driving distance from the wonderful ballincollig regional park if you like to stay local for a run or a walk, or to bring your kids to playing fields, a playground & skate park.
We are a 5 minutes drive from Blarney castle and grounds.
The Village has a lovely Indian restaurant, a pub and a fantastic garden centre Cafe all within a few minutes walk of the house.
The city has plenty of restaurants, cafes and pubs to visit.

Getting around
We are 10 minutes drive from cork city centre and 10 minutes drive from ballincollig.
There is a large supermarket about 2km up the road.
A car would be needed to get around.
The roads can be narrow and winding, so care is required when driving, but they are scenic roads, with hills and woodland.
