Our home is a 1880c renovated workers cottage. it is typical Australian historical home, double frontage with a tin roof. By the way, when it rains, you only hear pitter patter!
We renovated just 1 year ago, it is now a beautiful open plan light and airy home. I love gardening, consequently it is flourishing at the moment.
The house is in a perfect location, 10 mins walk to a train station, same to a bus network. There is a new underground metro system opening soon.
It is a CBD area, but we are on a quiet cul de sac, with very friendly neighbours. Walk to the Harbour bridge in 10 minutes, lots of bushland walks nearby.
We are in the middle of 3 villages, Crows Nest, Kirribilli and McMahons Point, so lots of restaurants, cafe's, boutique shops.
You will not need a car, the house is a 10 min walk to the Harbour bridge, 20 mins walk to the city.

As mentioned the house has had a full renovation just over a year ago. it is now fresh, modern and spacious with lots of light and airy.
There are 3 bedrooms, 1 x queen, 1 x double comfy sofa bed, 1 x superking size bed with en suite bathroom.
There is a second bathroom/utility room.
The kitchen is spacious, light and modern with all appliances you would need.
the lounge contains an eco fireplace, just right for the slightly chilly winter nights. But the house remains a steady temperature due to lots of insulation.

The house is on one level, just 2 steps to the front door.
The outside entertaining area is just off the lounge, it is incorporated with the house, as one.

Neighbourhood
Our neighbourhood is a typical local Australian neighbourhood, with lots of friendly neighbours. There is a back laneway that is another access to the house with gate codes. You will often hear the local children play cricket on the laneway. Australia's only saint Mary McKillop's chapel is just around the corner. Within 20 mins walk, there are fabulous bush land walks with incredible harbour views.
The local train station will take you anywhere, even to Bondi Beach!
