General overview

Globe offers welcome. Self contained upper floor apartment. This is our holiday apartment, only used by us and never rented out. It is on the whole top floor of a detached house, the downstairs apartment is rented long-term. We designed it ourselves so it's perfect for a couple (or 2 couples) with all the comforts of home. Located next to a huge park and surrounded by trees. Easy care so you can relax and enjoy your stay! Perth has a lot to offer - spectacular wildflowers in spring, pristine beaches in summer, mild weather in winter to enjoy sightseeing. Day trips to Rottnest are easy from our house as you can catch the train to the Fremantle ferry terminal. Rottnest is a must see - get a "quokka selfie", snorkle the reef (marine sanctuary), go whale watching, and enjoy the many hidden coves and beaches. If you are looking for more ideas on what to see and do in Perth please ask!

The space

Large full kitchen with dishwasher and breakfast bar, comfortable lounge area, and indoor/outdoor dining area. Two bedrooms (both with queen beds), one bathroom with built-in laundry, separate toilet. Single lock up garage for our bikes and your car.

Guest access

Located on the second floor (up one flight of stairs), with our own private garage and entry door. We have a keycode lock for easy access.

Notes

If you are interested in Australian Rules football you can catch a train to the new stadium to watch a game. Sculptures by the Sea is held in March at Cottesloe beach and the Kings Park Wildflower Festival is on in September. The Subiaco Farmer's Markets are nearby on every Saturday morning subifarmersmarket.com.au Easy day trips can take you to the Pinnacles and sand dunes north of Perth, Yanchep to see koalas, the Swan Valley to sample local food and wines (and craft beer), Mandurah to see the Dambo Giants, Penguin Island and more. And of course, Rottnest Island (by ferry) to see the quokkas.
