Unique features throughout including an indoor balcony, outdoor balcony, cantilevered deck, and another large deck.  4,400 square feet with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, a workout room, an outdoor living room, and tons of outdoor living space. We're located at the foot of mill mountain in a beautiful neighborhood with dozens upon dozens of miles of hiking, biking, and horse riding trails.  All this, and you're less than 1.5 miles from a gorgeous downtown.  Roanoke is a gem of a small city (200,000 people in the city and surrounding suburbs). It's best known as an outdoor sports playground with miles upon miles of hiking trails, mountain biking trails, road biking along the blue ridge parkway, kayaking and plenty more.  The international mountain biking association has Roanoke ranked as the #1 city in the eastern half of the US for mountain biking. Outdoor concerts at the amphitheatre are a must do.  What makes Roanoke great is the ease of access to all this.  It's big enough to have a lot going on but small enough so there's never any traffic.  Want to check out Washington DC but don't want the traffic? Hop on the train and make your way to DC, New York City, Boston and more.  Roanoke truly is a gem of a city.
