Getting around

You'll need a car to get around the area. A bus line connects my neighborhood to Arras city center and the train station, except on Sundays and public holidays. My car can be part of the swap.

I have retired from a career as a German teacher and I have already participated in 10 exchanges (on other sites) which are wonderful memories. I like to visit places steeped in history and culture or hiking in nature. I usually travel with one or two friends. I have a lot of various interests: classical music (and opera), jazz. I am not a very skilled piano player, but I enjoy it very much. I go to the theater as often as possible and regularly go to the theater festival in Avignon. I also like discovering new landscapes in any part of the world. My house may be available for a short (1 week minimum though) or longer (2-4 weeks) exchanges . Don't hesitate to contact me, even if I didn't write your destination, I love to be surprised! My best exchanges were destinations I didn't even think of! Past exchanges: Quebec, Nova Scotia, Vancouver Island, Germany (Bavaria, Moseltal), Leuven, Amsterdam, England. I am always interested in swaps in Canada, in the UK or in Germany.
