General overview
Our home was built in 2003 and is in a friendly neighborhood close to everything Bend has to offer. We do have a neighborhood pool, but at this time due to HOAs we cannot offer access. Our home is 2727sqft and is comfortable for up to 10 people. We have recently painted, put in new floors and appliances and added new furniture downstairs. The backyard has a nice seating area and on a good year, a garden.
The space
Downstairs is a bedroom and bath with a Queen bed. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a King bed and attached bathroom, and 2 more bedrooms with a Queen and Full bed. However, my son isn't quite on board with sharing his space, so for now his bedroom would be locked. lol The large bonus room is comfortable and can easily fit 2-4 people. Also upstairs is a lovely balcony overlooking the pathway through a park across the street. We have a sauna, peloton, and arcade machine. We also work from home so there are multiple computer stations. One of which, we would have accessible for you to use.
Guest access
There are 2 floors and one set of stairs.
Notes
We have a cat and a dog. The dog would find other accommodations :) but our outdoor can would appreciate a bit of food, water and love.

Neighbourhood
Our neighborhood is 5 minutes from everything by car. There is a school nearby, a large park and a seasonal neighborhood pool. I'm sorry, but due to HOAs we would not be able to offer the pool key to you. There are 3 other pools in Bend that are lots of fun ;)
Bend is well-known for being a recreation mecca at any time of year. In addition, with the access to some of the cleanest water in the nation, we have 18 breweries to round-out your day of adventure. Hike through (or up) the Cascade Mountains, paddle or float down the Deschutes River, Ski down Mt Bachelor, bike the epic trails, surf the rapids right in town, see a big-name concert, eat and drink at award-winning restaurants...ALL IN THE SAME DAY.

Adelle and Family
Family of 4, world travelers, and lovers of adventure but always on a budget. Mom is a work-from-anywhere graphic designer, Dad is a project manager, kids 14 and 11 are pretty awesome little humans. We have a long list of places we'd like to travel, but while the kids are still in school, we are limited to holidays and summer for now. We can however, plan a long get away with enough notice and planning. We love the outdoors and experiencing the best of what the area has to offer.
People Like Us is the world's most trusted home exchange community. We believe in sharing, trust, generosity, respect, communication, equality, cooperation, honesty, hospitality, friendship, flexibility and adventure. We take pride in our homes and we care about the environment in which we live: our village, city, country and our planet. We care about the ethos of home exchange and we do it because we love the experience and the friendships that it generates.
