Nearest airport
Philadelphia airport, PHL, is about 45 minutes by car and Baltimore airport, BWI, is an hour and a half by car. There is a smaller airport, called Wilmington that is 20-30 minutes by car.
Getting Around
You will need a car to get to most places. Historic downtown Newark can be walked to in about 20 minutes for most walkers. The local grocery store center with restaurants and other shops as well as the library and gas station/ coffee/ sandwich shop are all about the same distance as downtown Newark. In the other direction there is a small shopping center a steakhouse and a coffee shop restaurant that’s about a 10 minute walk.
