General overview

My house is located in the countryside, 10 minutes from all services. Magog is a popular tourist town with a great atmosphere. The lakeside walk is a “must”! I have neighbours, but the area is quiet and the land very large, in the forest. The house is very pleasant to live in. Everyone I interacted with loved it.

The space

- Fully equipped kitchen with gas stove. - Large bright house surrounded by nature - Heated outdoor swimming pool (easy to maintain) - A vegetable garden and a flower garden (I do not ask to do the maintenance, the weeds will grow! Just water and you can help yourself to vegetables) - A pretty cat that goes outside. She is a bit shy. You just have to feed her. Description of parts: - Ground floor: living room, kitchen, dining room, large master bedroom and bathroom - Floor: 1 closed bedroom (double bed), 1 unclosed bedroom (curtain - double bed), mezzanine which serves as a mini living room, bathroom-sink and large office (I can give access to a MAC computer) - Cellar: not part of the exchange but remains open for access to heaters and the like. - Exterior: 1 front terrace with BBQ and table + 1 large rear terrace with table, swimming pool and shed. The garage serves as storage. Large flowered ground.

Guest access

House on 2 floors. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility.

Notes

My house is filled with art, fragile trinkets, music CDs, books, etc. I prefer not to exchange with families with young children. The swimming pool requires parental supervision, even for older children. I can trade the car. I have a Nissan Qashqai.

Brigitte

I am 64 years old, my husband died and I want to continue traveling. For me, home exchange is a pleasant and safe way to travel. We made several trips including 11 exchanges which were great experiences. Friendships were born from it. I now have a new partner with whom I travel, or with one or two friends. I am a self-employed graphic designer, I work from home. My house is filled with books, works of art, music. I am comfortable in nature and I like calm. Respect is an important value for me. I like people, I like to communicate, I am sociable. I enjoy being able to chat with the people I interact with.
