This is an ideal base to explore Melbourne. It is a modern, well equipped home with lots of natural light close to local attractions such Luna Park, the Palais Theatre, Sunday Esplanade Market, Acland and Fitzroy cafe streets , St Kilda Botanical Gardens and of course St Kilda beach. The St Kilda Pier, home to the local fairy penguin population is a 5 minute walk, where you can see penguins nightly for free.
This 3 level home consisting of 3 bedrooms + study, 2 bathrooms and open plan kitchen/dining is large enough for couple of families to meet and holiday together. Onsite parking is available within a secure garage, as well as access to off street parking. Car may be available depending on where we are on holidays at the time of exchange.
Local shops are within 5 minutes walk including modern cafes/restaurants, major retailers and supermarkets. Public transport options are plenty with trams and buses that easily take you into town.
We are a great base for some wonderful day trips - each approximately 1-1.5 hours drive away including Mornington Peninsula, Bellarine Peninsula and Yarra Valley.
The space
This modern townhouse consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and lock up garage.
At entry level we're greeted by the 2 car garage, two bedrooms, each with courtyard access and glowing bathroom. A tuck away laundry and small gym area including weights/spin bike complete this area.
The middle level houses a vast open plan living/dining/gourmet kitchen sprawling over the entire level, spilling onto private terraces at each end. The couch can also be converted to a double bed if more than 6 people are needing to stay, and we also have good quality blow up mattresses suitable (x2) with plenty of floor shape should the need arise.
The top floor comprises a separate study or parents retreat leading to a huge master bedroom, walk in robes and ensuite with double shower and two further private balconies. Features include heating, reverse cycle air-conditioning and high speed internet, washer/dryer/dishwasher.
There are stairs - making it not suitable for very young children (but we are happy that families with your children do stay). They just need to be aware we aren't baby-proofed.

Tullamarine Airport (main airport) is approx 30-40 mins away by car/taxi. Airport bus a little longer.
Avalon Airport approx 50-55 mins away by car.
Getting around
Walking is a great way to explore the area with shops a mere 5 minute walk away. Trams and buses at the doorstep to take you further afield.
