Neighbourhood
Nothing around you but deep peace, quiet forest, and starry skies. Even neighbors are sparse. If you’re looking for a manicured, commercial resort town, this isn’t it. If you want something genuinely special, authentic, and immersive, it is.
Nearest airport
HUX - Bahias de Huatulco Airport is about 25 min from the casita.
Getting Around
Car rental is a must and worth every peso to navigate our unpaved access road and explore the stunning region. From the casita: 35 minutes down the mountain takes you to Huatulco’s pristine bays and town plaza for incredible snorkeling, boat tours, and fresh seafood at waterfront palapas. Forty minutes the other direction takes you up into Pluma Hidalgo’s coffee farms, traditional village streets, and refreshing mountain air wrapped in soft fog (neblina).
