General overview
We have a spacious family home located within walking distance of local shops and restaurants.
Location wise we are within 10/15 minutes drive of the Yorkshire Sculpture Park and The Hepworth Wakefield. Leeds is just 10 miles away (with public transport options) and we are also centrally located for visiting York, Sheffield or Huddersfield. The Yorkshire Dales are just over an hour away. There are lots of opportunities nearby for walking and cycling and days out including Nostell Priory, National Coal Mining Museum, Langsett Reservoir, Cannon Hall Farm, Temple Newsam and Lotherton Hall.
The space
We have 4 large bedrooms, 1 with a king size bed, 1 with a single bed and 1 single with a pull
out trundle bed which can be used as a single or second king size. We also have a sofa bed downstairs. Our 4th bedroom also has an additional double bed however we both currently use that as our office space for work therefore for short term exchanges we would prefer that this room isn't used (unless agreed in advance).
We have a semi-open kitchen/dining space with dining space for 6-8, a log burner, a sofa that looks over the garden and large bifold doors. We also have a separate living room with TV. We have a family bathroom upstairs with separate bath and shower and a downstairs toilet. We have off road parking for up to 2 cars. We have lots of toys, books and games for children including outside slide/mud kitchen etc and an outdoor seating area.
Notes
We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 kids aged 6 and 4) looking to show our kids more of the world. We are open to exchanges almost anywhere although we are largely tied to school holidays. We could consider hosting a couple whilst we are still in the house if dates don't work for a simultaneous swap and we are open to suggestions.

Getting around
You can walk to shops for basic essentials. There are bus stops close by with easy access to Wakefield and direct buses to Leeds and Huddersfield. It would probably be easier to have a car to explore the area but depending on what you were interested in, it could be possible using public transport.
