Villa located in a small and unique wooded resort community with many amenities. The ocean is a short walk across the street from the resort. There is a grocery/market as well as several restaurants located in a small plaza next to the resort, very easy to walk to. The resort offers 3 swimming pools (one heated in cooler months), three tennis courts, racquetball, shuffleboard courts, pickelball, a fitness center, saunas, and paved wooded walking trails set among the community’s rolling dunes.
New Smyrna Beach (NSB) is a small quaint unspoiled seaside town located on a barrier island on the east coast of Florida. NSB is located approximately a 20 minute drive south of Daytona Beach (Daytona Int'l Speedway) and just over an hour drive north of Orlando. In addition to the beautiful ocean and miles of wide white sand beaches it offers easy access to Orlando attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, Epcot and more. Titusville (Kennedy Space Center) is about a 45 minute drive. Historical St. Augustine ("Nation's Oldest City") is approximately an hour drive to the north. Daytona Beach has NASCAR and racing attractions, a new Tanger Outlet Mall and "One Daytona" for shopping/dining and the Ponce Lighthouse. NSB also boasts lots of fantastic restaurants, a quaint downtown area with interesting shops, live theater ("The Little Theatre"), the Canaveral National Seashore Park and several historical sites. There are several local golf courses.
There are so many things to do right here! For example - climb to the top of the Ponce Inlet Light House (tallest light house in Florida) for an amazing view, take a 2 hour tour on a catamaran with FunCat, watch the dolphin and manatee play in the Intracoastal waterway, tour NSB’s downtown Flagler street with it’s quaint shops and art galleries, take surfing lessons, go shore fishing, rent kayaks, paddle-boards, a boat, or join a deep sea fishing charter for the day. If you time it right you might be able to see a launch from the Kennedy Space Center (either from the beach in NSB or to get really close drive to Titusville). During June-Oct you can take a night kayak bioluminescent tour for a once in a lifetime experience! Take a chair, sit on the beach and just relax. Walk, run or ride a bicycle on the beach. Drive a car on the beach! Walk from the villa to the beach and then along the beach to several great restaurants for lunch/dinner or just to relax and have a drink while enjoying an ocean view. Stay "home" and enjoy one of the 3 resort swimming pools, the tennis courts, the fitness center or stroll the wooded paved pathways that wind through the community. Nearly every weekend there is an event in town such as a sand-sculpting contest, a seafood festival, food truck event, kite flying contest or “wine walk” just to name a few! Information on how/where to find local activities (the kayak tour, Light House, etc.) is all gathered and will be waiting for your arrival! In addition, this is a link to the NSB visitors site:

The closest airport is Daytona Beach (DAB) which is about 20 minutes by car. The next largest airport is Orlando (MCO) about an hour to hour and a half depending on traffic. I do recommend a car as we are a small town with limited public transportation.
Grocery and several restaurants located within walking distance.
