General Overview

Our 1 bedroom flat is situated just a few steps from the beach and sea in beautiful Weymouth, Dorset. It is walking distance along the seafront to town and the harbour. Here you find shops, cafes, restaurants and there is often some live music going on in town. You have buses passing just outside our house to town and in the other direction to Durdle door, Lulworth cove, monkey world etc. The train station is a 10-15 mins walk away(or you can take the bus). There are regular trains and bus to London. Nearest airport is Bournemouth about an hour away. Weymouth is a lovely place, lively in the summer and more quiet in the winter. You will have beautiful walking and access to the south western coastal path practically on your doorstep.
Please note that there is a quite busy road between our flat and the beach. You will hear the traffic when you have windows or balcony door open.

The Space

Walking through our door you come in to a small hallway. There is space to hang your jacket and take off your shoes here. From the hallway you come  to the bathroom, it has a toilet, sink and a combined bath/shower. The bathroom is tiled. The only bedroom is also reached from the hallway. We have wardrobes, a comfy chair and a king size bed (150*200 cm). The hallway then leads to the open planned kitchen/living room. The kitchen part has tiled floor. There is a fridge/freezer, oven, hob, microwave, de longhi coffeemaker, mixer, toaster, kettle, combined washer/dryer and a dishwasher. The living room has a high table with 4 stools, 2 chairs, a 3 seater sofa, TV,  speaker for music. All areas except bathroom and kitchen has carpet. There is a small balcony towards the sea from the living room. We have a small table and 2 chairs there. We have 2 camping beds and 1 single airbed available if needed.

Guest Access

The garage is under the building. Our flat is on the ground floor. From the garage there are stairs, and also an elevator. From the street there are stairs leading in to the hallway of the building.

Notes

Smoking absolutely forbidden in our flat. 
We are both vegetarians(pescetarians) but of course it would be fine for guests to cook meat in our flat as long as they use extractor fan and wash all pots/pans properly after use.

Neighbourhood

Weymouth has everything! The sea and beach right outside our flat. Pebbles on beach but also sandy beach in town. Nextdoor is sealife centre, sandworld and skateboard park. There is a park with playground, parkrun, free yoga in the summer just a few minutes walk away. Weymouth offers lots of restaurants, pubs, cafes, live music. In the summer we have fireworks and live music on the beach. There are boats for getting out on the sea. Other attractions are Nothe fort in Weymouth, further out monkey world, Abbotsbury swannery, tropical garden, west bay and Lyme Regis.

Getting to my home

Our flat is very easy to get to by car, train or buses. You can fly to the nearest airport Bournemouth. There are other airports nearby, Exeter, Bristol, Southampton. Also it is easy to get to London airports with trains and buses.
