Neighbourhood

7 min walk to the small center with subway Kärrtorp, supermarket, a vegan cafe, pizza, sushi, Thai, yoga studio, library etc. other restaurants within walking distance in Björkhagen and Enskede. Only 3 Kilometres to Södermalm, a hip area in central Stockholm - you can take a nice walk. In summer time, you can start a long hike on the trail Sörmlandsleden outside of our house, in winter if you are lucky with snow, you can instead Cross-country ski:)

Nearest airport

Arlanda or Nyköping. You can get to our neighbourhood by public transport and then walk 200 m.

Getting Around

Walk, run, bike… or take the subway thats a few minutes away and leaves every 5-10 minutes (a bit less after midnight and on weekends). It runs 24/7.

Maja

We are a family of four, the kids are 8 and 10 ( 2024). Both Maja and Karl work with international development cooperation, and we had lived abroad as a family (in Rwanda), and before we met (Maja in South America and Spain, Karl in Asia). Maja used to be a dedicated couch surfer 😊. Our daughter loves handball, swimming and sings in a choir, our son plays table tennis and both are dedicated scouts. In our family we also have the two rabbits Kiwi and Ronja. They live in our garden all year and might stay while home exchanging (to be discussed/agreed). As a family, we love traveling to new places, spend time in nature, at the beach, in museums and much more. We are eager to explore Europe - mainly by car and trains. We are open to sims, non-sims and globes. Also in Sweden! We can unfortunately only travel during school holidays: ✅ Mid-June to mid August ✅ last week of October ✅ Christmas holidays ✅ last week of February ✅Easter Long weekends are also good if closeby including in Sweden. Swedes: We are very much up for swapping houses (all year ;) with our house, in particular country side and skiing. In addition, basically any housing in Skåne as we regularly visit my family there.
