Neighbourhood
I live about a 10 minute walk to the Lachine canal. To get there you have to walk thru a beautiful park where you can go to the local public pool and tennis courts. Also on the way, you will pass by the bixi bike shared rental site, where you can rent bikes to use along the bike path by the canal that goes all the way into old Montreal.
Nearest airport
Pierre Élliott Trudeau airport
Getting around
No car required as I live a 5 minute walk to public transportation. I’m not near a metro but there is a express bus to Lionel Groulx metro station and from there you can take the green line downtown or the orange line to old Montreal which are the most popular sites to visit in Montreal. If you do have a car , no worries as there is plenty of free parking on my street.
