General Overview

My home is on 40 gorgeous acres with wood trails and fields with an amazing sand area and playground plus a fun inground pool with a slide and great outdoor eating areas. Enjoying the beauty of my home with very close access to the amazing Saratoga Springs and Lake George within 10-15 mins. The capital of New York. Albany, is 40 mins. Adirondack Mountains starts in about 15 mins and goes for 75 miles north.  Lakes placid 1.5 hour. Also Montreal, New York City, and Boston are all 3 hours away. For Skiing, West Mountain 10 mins, Gore 45 mins. Lakes; Moreau, Saratoga and Lake George all within 15 mins. 

This home is suitable for children aged 8 and over as it is not child proofed. The pool requires proper supervision as there are tall walls without railings that would cause injury and a 9 foot deep end. Playground and trails also require supervision of children as we do have wild animals and poisonous plants in our woods. Trails are clear and usually safe to walk on.  Deer ticks must always checked for if outdoors.

The Space

The house is divided into two locked off areas. different accommodations. This posting is for the main house 2 floors which are located on the  second and third floor. There is a kitchen, dining room, formal living room, den, 3 bedrooms and 1.5 bath plus washer and dryer.  All three bedrooms have a smart TV. The main bedroom has a queen bed. The other bedroom has a bunkbed with a full-size and single bed with stairs. The other bedroom has a full-size futon ready to be a bed and a single bed. This bedroom requires you walk down the stairs to get to a bathroom that is in the studio or you must cross through the main bedroom. My personal loft bedroom is locked and used for personal storage and does have a nest camera with no audio in that room only. Rest of indoor house is camera free.
There is a  24 x 24 Studio that’s great for yoga, meditation, exercising, etc. In the enclosed porch in the entrance way and beside the studio, there is a 3 person Low EMF FAR Infrared Carbon Canadian Hemlock Sauna that can be used all year round. Pool is available in the summer season only.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to the main house which is the second (ground level) and third floor. The  studio, porch with sauna, and all open outdoor areas. The pool and outdoor eating areas if in season. In the main house, only three rooms will be available as my loft bedroom will be used for personal storage. The 3 bedroom are as follows: 1. Queen Bed 2. Bunks, full and twin. 3. Single and full size futon. This is a pet free home and is allergy-free friendly however my sons dog occasionally visits so if allergic to dogs please discuss first. My house is safe for children approximately aged 8 and up.

Notes

We had a fantastic week at Annie's stunning pool home in Upstate New York. There is so much to do in the area we felt we could have spent much longer. The home is immaculate and Annie kindly left us Saratoga Springs bottles water in the cooler and a gift for my daughter which made her day! I can only repeat my feedback from Annie's and Evan's stay at our place: they are just GREAT!!! Once again we spent countless hours talking and sharing experiences. The house is spacious, and even if they are around you still have a lot of space to yourself. Quiet area, beautiful places to be discovered (ask Annie for recommendations) and great hosts! What are you expecting more?! The only disadvantage was that we couldn't stay longer :-(

Annie's home was lovely! It's located very conveniently close to the Interstate 87, so this makes getting around really quick and easy. It's a beautiful location every season. Great bike routes all around. We visited in the fall and the colors were truly beautiful. I highly recommend visiting the Moreau Lake State Park nearby, lovely hikes there. Annie's estate is huge, so lots of space for kids to run around and play. Beautiful pool which must be great in the summer. The house is really spacious and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Beds are very comfy and kitchen is very well equipped. And we loved the studio for working out. Annie is very responsive and helpful. Our family would love to visit again in the future and we highly recommend exchanging with Annie!

My family and I were lucky enough to spend the long Labor Day weekend at Annie's downstairs apartment, which is separate to the main house with its own entrance. It was perfect for our family of 3! There is a lovely King room (with great view of the pool!), and also another bed in the lounge area that my son used - there is a screen to use if preferred, but we did not use it. The apartment was perfect for us, and extremely clean and well stocked. There are plenty of DVDs and video games as well, for the evenings, as well as board games. Annie's home is in a fantastic area, super close to Lake George area, and also Saratoga Springs, where we enjoyed some lovely meals and shopping. We visited Lake Placid, went hiking, zip lining, visited mineral springs.. there is SO much more we could have done! Annie is a wonderful host - great communicator and very kind, friendly and generous. We hope to visit Annie's home again in the future!
