We live in a three-room apartment (75sqm) in a beautiful building from 1926. The apartment is on the third floor and has nice views of the surrounding area. The wooden floors and high ceilings are very typical for Berlin living. There is a full kitchen, a bathtub and a balcony. The backyard of the house is beautifully maintained by the house community and invites you to sit down on a bench and enjoy the green of the garden oasis.
We are very close to the Berlin U Bahn where the U8 takes you to the middle of the city in only 15 minutes. You can go directly to places like Alexanderplatz or into Kreuzberg and Neukölln.
There is a small lake close to the house, Schäfersee, plenty of playgrounds and park areas are also closeby.

There is a spacious living room, one bedroom with spacious wardrobes, a small study room with a desk, a bathroom with bathtub, a full kitchen and a balcony with a place to sit and view the surrounding area from the third floor.

Neighbourhood
We are in the border area of the districts Wedding and Reinickendorf, the area has a lively shopping street, 4 supermarkets within 5 minutes of walking distance, the U Bahn stop is a 3 minute walk from the front door. The area is multicultural and reflects on the history of Berlin as a mix of born and raised Berliners and people from all over the world. There a many playgrounds and park areas closeby, the Schäfersee Lake is always a good place to go for a walk and watch the water birds that live there. There are cafés and restaurants closeby.
Something we especially love about our home is that it is very close to the busy shopping street and public transportation, but once you walk into our street you leave the noise behind.
Getting to my home
We are close to U Bahn U8 Franz Neumann Platz, there are several bus lines as well and a short walk away is the U Bahn U9 Osloer Straße.
The main train station is about 25 minutes away on public transportation.
Nearest airport
BER airport is the closest, it will take you 45 minutes on airport train and U Bahn to get to our home.
