General Overview
We have a 2100 square foot (195 ms) home on 3 acres, and we have a small vineyard on our property that is over 100 years old! We are located in the country, yet just 10 minutes drive to town. We have a 40 foot above ground pool and a hot tub. You can pick veggies from the garden and barbecue on the decks overlooking the large valley oaks and vineyard views. The living room has a beautiful upright Yamaha piano. We have a large garden with vegetables and flowers. From here you can explore the wine country, the Sonoma coast, San Francisco and the Bay area, and other nearby smaller towns, such as Sebastopol and Healdsburg.
We do have a cat who stays outside during the day and comes in for the night. He will need to be fed and let in and out. We have a neighbor who is available if you will be out of town.

We had 10 wonderful days in this house. This is a great area for some relaxing days. The communication with Elizabeth and Peter was easy and clear. The house and garden is practical, very clean and with tons of charm. We enjoyed vegetables from the garden, the pool and the jacuzzi. The whole family wished we could stay a week or two longer. We miss Chester, the friendly cat! We highly reccommend these members as exchange partners!

We are so happy to have Elizabeth and Peter as our first guests. So friendly and easy going and leaving our home in perfect order. We had the pleasure of meeting them before they borrowed our home. Communication in all channels worked fine. Hope to see them again!
Great communication, house was clean and tidy when we returned. We could not have wished for a better exchangepartner.
The house was in perfect condition, our cat well taken care of!
We stayed at Ingrid's home for a week and can highly recommend her home. We found it very clean and neat, with everything we needed to be comfortable. Her home is in a beautiful area of larger homes with good sized garden/yard area. We especially appreciated being able to use the bicycles. It was easy and convenient to ride to grocery stores, Viigeland Park, and even to the other side of Oslo. We found it easy to communicate with Ingrid, and we really enjoyed meeting her and the family before our trade.
We had a wonderful time at Berge’s home. It is a fantastic location and such a cute neighborhood, with the church and coffee shops around the corner. But it is not too busy and it is very quiet. We easily walked to downtown Oslo, and also used the bus which was less than a minute walk. We really enjoyed how quiet the area is, but with such charm and a friendly feel.
Berge’s home was clean and comfortable. There is privacy and a quiet garden. It was always easy to communicate with Berge. He answered right away and was so helpful to us. We highly recommend you coming to Oslo and staying in Berge’s home.
Berge and his family were respectful of us and our home. They would ask questions if there was anything they needed to know about the house, and they kept us informed of any information we needed to know. You can feel very comfortable having his family come to your home.
