General overview
A house furnished for a couple. There is one large bedroom with a double bed. It has direct access to the bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The living/dining area has large windows with slightly darkening glass.
The kitchen has recently been renovated (2019), has an induction hob, oven, microwave, coffee maker. Everything actually!
From the "office space" you reach both the storage space and the garden with terrace, artificial grass and border with plantings. A large and small table offer the opportunity to sit outside.
There is another garden shed and a garage.
The space
The living room is also our dining area (when we can't sit on our terrace). The space is quite sleek and modern. The WiFi code is ready! There is a Philips TV set with a lot of posts. You can also use netflix with your own login details. There is also a bose radio. Instructions for use are available.
Access to the toilet is in the entrance hall.
The fairly large bedroom has a double bed, the left side of which can be adjusted with a remote control. The large wardrobe gives you space to put or hang clothes.
The sliding door in the bedroom gives access to the bathroom. The walk-in shower with bench has a rain shower and a hand shower.
A hairdryer, towels and products can be found in the cabinets next to and under the sink.
Behind the living room you enter the renovated kitchen. All possible large and small kitchen appliances are available. You cook on the induction hob.
There is a storage room with access from the office. Apart from the contents of our wine storage cabinet, everything that is in stock may be used.
The garden terrace has a sun blind that is operated with the remote control that hangs inside the large sliding door. A floating garden umbrella is also available.
Guest access
The house is a bungalow (so without a floor). We always agree on how you can find the key (e.g. key box with code, with dear neighbor,...)
The electric garage door is operated with the remote controls inside (at the gate, at the door to the kitchen). We also ensure that you can keep a copy.

Getting to my home
Once at Bruges station, take bus no. 6 (Malehoek). You get off at the Puyenbroeklaan stop. Continue for about 100 meters and turn left into Hofdamstraat, then first right into Forestierstraat to get to our house at the end on the left (corner with Schoutstraat).
Nearest airport
By plane you can land in Ostend (30 km.), Brussels-Zaventem (92 km.) or Brussels-South/Charleroi (118 km.)
From Ostend you first take the bus and then the train to Bruges, from Brussels there is a direct train to Bruges and from Charleroi there is a bus to Bruges.
Getting around
The distance from our house to the Kruispoort (entrance of the city) is exactly 3.2 km. or 2 mi.
Bus 6 takes you to the historic city center of Bruges. A box with maps and information is ready.
Close to the house there are shops for food, some bakery.
