A new space for our Premium Members
We’re excited to announce something special just for you—our brand-new People Like Us Facebook group exclusively for Premium Members!
This new group is designed to make home exchanges even easier, as it’s a space where all members enjoy full Premium benefits, including unlimited exchanges and the ability to share their listings freely. It’s the perfect place to connect with fellow dedicated home exchangers, find swaps, and build friendships with others who share your love for travel and cultural exchange.
Why a New Group?
While our main PLU group remains a lively space to share advice, travel stories, photos, tips, and all kinds of travel inspiration, the People Like Us Premium Community focuses on making your home exchanges simpler, faster, and even more enjoyable—exclusively for those with Premium membership.
The People Like Us Premium Community isn't a replacement for our current group, but something extra. Our current group will remain an important and integral part of People Like Us. Premium members should remain in the current group, and continue to post and encourage new members to join us. We expect the current group to remain our primary source of new members, and crucial to our future growth.
Here’s what you can look forward to in the Premium Community:
Effortless Exchange Opportunities: With all members in the group having unlimited access to listings, proposing and arranging exchanges will be quicker and easier.
Focused Community: Connect with others who are equally invested in the PLU community, share listings, and find exchanges.
How do you get access?
We're committed to ensuring that the People Like Us Premium Community is for Premium members only, so we're introducing a two-step process to ensure the members are Premium.
- Connect your People Like Us profile to your Facebook profile.
- Go to the People Like Us Premium Community, apply to join, enter your PLU number (which is found at the top of your Home Profile), and confirm that you have connected your PLU Profile to your Facebook profile.

Why do you have to connect your Facebook profile?
We're committed to ensuring as best we can that the People Like Us Premium Community is a place for Premium Members only. Many people don't use their real names on Facebook, so we needed a way to know who was who. Your Facebook name and email address are kept in our database but not shown to anyone. It is only used for us to verify that you are a Premium People Like Us member when you apply to join our Facebook Community.
We’re truly grateful to our entire community, and this new group is a reflection of the growing needs and requests of members like you.
