Drayton is a cute and friendly village in Oxfordshire, bordering on Abingdon. We live on the edge of the village, so our views are amazing and the sunsets are priceless. There are many public footpaths in and around the village. You can also walk to the famous Thames Path. Abingdon is a historic market town along the river Thames (https://www.abingdon.gov.uk/discover-abingdon) and central Abingdon is a 15 minute bike ride from our home (there are buses too). Oxford is obviously a famous, historic university city https://www.visitbritain.com/gb/en/10-amazing-things-see-and-do-oxford There really is something to do for everyone in Oxfordshire: beautiful nature, cute villages and towns, shopping, good food.
You can swim in the Thames nearby, it’s beautiful and idyllic.

Premium Founder
Sytske
We are an adventurous family of four: Wouter, Sytske, 6-year old Serra (2015) and 3-year old Hidde (2018). After living in California for about 7 years, we moved to the Netherlands in 2019 and travelled through Europe. In February 2020 we moved to London and in April 2021 we moved to Drayton in Oxfordshire. We love to explore nature. We love rock climbing, biking, wind surfing and playing in the snow (combination of snow shoeing, (backcountry) skiing, snow boarding). We tend to travel a lot, in the past years exploring all the beautiful spots in California and surroundings. Now we are ready to explore Europe!
We have done several very successful exchanges and really love the experience of staying local in someone's house. We hope to explore many more of the world doing home exchanges.
