Welcome to our beautiful, BestSunPeaks townhome, which is a conveniently located, luxurious, true ski-in/ski-out and family-friendly townhouse just minutes away from the Sun Peaks Resort village in Canada's 2nd largest four-season ski resort. This beautifully upgraded four + bedroom townhouse is perfect for families who wish to enjoy the many year-round activities available at Sun Peaks Resort in British Columbia, Canada. The skiing and winter activities are fantastic from late November to early April, and beautiful alpine hiking, mountain biking, golfing, tennis, fishing and watersports are just some of the popular summer activities. We also have a smaller, 3 bedroom condo available for exchange too.

Feel relaxed and at home the instant you step through the front door of our Trappers Landing Sun Peaks townhouse - soothing, heated tile floors welcome you, and the spacious, fully upgraded and well-stocked kitchen, dining room and living room with soaring vaulted ceilings await. The main floor includes plenty of storage, a 2 piece powder room with granite countertops and heated floors, a large, fully-stocked kitchen with over-sized granite countertops, see-through space to the dining area, heated tile floors, beautiful cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. There is a large dining room with plenty of seats for at least 8 people at the table and 4 others at the counter, a comfortable living room with hardwood floors, a welcoming river rock gas fireplace, flatscreen tv with a PS3 gaming system and Netflix. And if you want more space or just to admire the views, step out the sliding glass doors onto the large deck with a propane BBQ, seating area and beautiful views. The upper level includes 3 very comfortably-sized bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom with granite countertops and heated tile floors. Each room features a wardrobe unit to assist in organizing your clothes for the duration of your stay. The master bedroom has beautiful hardwood floors, ceiling fan for year-round comfort, drawers, flatscreen tv, patio door to a peek-a-boo deck, plenty of windows, and a luxurious, upgraded 3 piece ensuite bathroom with a large glass-walled shower, heated tile floors, lovely etched glass dividing window and plenty of space to help pamper yourself and relax after a great day on the mountains. The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed, widescreen tv, fold-down desk/table and a wardrobe, and the third bedroom has a wardrobe, fold-down desk/table, Widescreen tv with a 3rd PS3 and Netflix, and a large, log-themed bunk bed with a queen size bed on the bottom and a twin up top. We also have a 'Bonus' room in the walk-out lower level which includes a storage area, 4 piece bathroom with granite counter-tops and heated tile floor, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a river rock gas fireplace with tv and a second PS3/Netflix entertainment area as well as a small, second kitchen including a full-size fridge, stove, and a microwave, slow cooker, popcorn maker and griddle, along with lots of the basics in terms of dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans and more. Step through the ground level door to our large, covered hot tub and deck area with bistro table, chairs, and the wonderful smell of the beautiful, fresh mountain air. There is one small parking spot in the attached garage, and other guest parking available on a first-come first-served basis with a permit, either right beside our end unit townhouse or throughout the Trappers Landing Sun Peaks complex.

Gastzugang

Our property is a 3 floor townhome with level entry, but the bedrooms are either on the upper floor or on the ground-level walk-out basement. The doors have a numerical access code that you will be sent prior to your arrival.

Anmerkungen

It is a strata complex with shared walls and we ask all our guests to be respectful of the rules. No smoking and no pets are permitted. Sorry - not available for exchanges over the Christmas holidays. Since this is a secondary home, a nominal cleaning fee may apply for non-simultaneous and non-reciprocal exchanges.

Nachbarschaft

Sun Peaks ski resort is Canada's 2nd largest ski resort in terms of ski-able terrain. It is like a little brother to world-famous Whistler/Blackcomb, offering most of the same amenities but on a much smaller, quieter scale. There are many recreational activities to enjoy year-round, so if winter sports aren't your thing, there are many beautiful hiking and biking trails to enjoy, a golf course, lakes for water sports and fishing, and wineries and craft brew pub restaurants in nearby Kamloops to enjoy in the summer months.

Rumkommen

Sun Peaks Resort is quite compact so guests can get around to most activities without the need for a vehicle while here. We are easy ski-in/ski-out to/from the main village, and there is a free shuttle bus to the village during the main ski season. The walk to the village is only about 10 minutes, and it is very easy to safely explore the village and surrounding area. We are 45 minutes away from Kamloops airport where taxis or shuttle buses can be arranged, and around 4-5 hours away by car from Vancouver and Whistler/Blackcomb and 6 hours from Seattle.

Nancy and myself live in the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada, and own a beautiful townhome as well as a smaller yet also beautiful condo in Sun Peaks Ski Resort (4 seasons of fun) in British Columbia that we are making available for exchanges. We still work full-time but are wanting to enjoy some wonderful holidays when we can, both now and in the future as our working schedules begin to wind down. We are very responsible, non smokers, social drinkers, and are hoping to eventually become part of this home exchange community and to make friends along the way. Given our limited vacation time currently (since we also enjoy playing in Sun Peaks as often as we can), near future destinations once considered safe again, include Kauai, Greece, Italy and perhaps Mayan Riviera or Caribbean. Australia and New Zealand are future goals too! Our schedules make holidays over 1 week difficult at this time, so globes for future holidays would be a wonderful option if possible.
