A little gem located in Kato Chora (lower part of old town) in Serifos Island in Greece. the house is steps away from the bus stop &the Chora-Livadi walking trail. The interior, designed with love&respect to Cycladic tradition, is naturally cool because of its location, quiet, & bathed in lush sunlight. From the doorstep you will greet the morning with the colorful shades of the nearby hills&rocks, & bid adieu to the day with a magical sunset. Ideal place to enjoy a breezy siesta&start your explorations of the island, driving or hiking
Der Raum
A 2-bedroom home with an open loft space. The loft has two single mattresses combined into one king-size bed; it is a great spot if you have kids. A pullout couch can transform into a bed for two more people. No doors separate the fully equipped kitchen from the dining room, the living room and the bedrooms. Because of the Meltemia (local winds) and the thick stone walls, the house stays nice and cool even despite the fierce Greek sun. Additionally, there are screens/mosquito nets on all windows and doors to keep out unwanted guests.
Our home is an ideal romantic getaway for a couple, but it can comfortably accommodate up to six people. The service we offer is tailored for your needs, the number of guests and amount of days you wish to spend in our home.
This is the ideal home away from home to start your exploration of this amazing island and make memories that will last a lifetime

A 2-bedroom home with an open loft space as the second bed and a pullout couch as extra space for two more people. The loft is an excellent spot to accommodate children (>5 yo). The dining room, the living room and the bedroom are in all-in-one configuration, and no door separates the fully equipped kitchen. You will only have to walk a few steps up from the road, where you park/bus leaves you to get to the house.

Chora is a model of a medieval castled settlement, and the house is located right on the foot of it. There is a ceramic studio, “Kerameio”, and café “Balconi”, with breathtaking views to Livadi, around the corner down the road. All the bars, cafes, restaurants and nightlife of Chora is about a 15-min walk up the hill. Warm and cozy vibes, delicious views to the rocky part of the island, and a wonderful little neighborhood. During sunset, the rocks disappear as the sun sinks below them and the mountains fall into darkness.
Serifo’s Chora is not only an archeological site but also the perfect location if you are looking for a hiking adventure or to indulge yourself in the coolest summer activities; with Kato Chora remaining quiet, peaceful and picturesque. The ideal place to blend in with the locals, and the only traffic noise being the donkey steps.
Zu mir nach Hause kommen
There are two types of ferries departing from Piraeus and getting to SErifos. A fast one (2.5h) and the slower one (5.5h). Then the house from the port is 12 min of a car ride

syros airport is only a short (1.5h) ferry ride away. For the Athens airport you would take a 2h ferry to piraeus port and then a taxi or the metro to the ariport.
Rumkommen
With easy access and easier parking than the rest of Chora, the house is a few steps up from the main road located on the end of a daedalian whitewashed narrow street. Several paths start from Chora for spectacular hikes and trekking. The bus, that takes you up to Chora or down to Livadi, stops only a few steps from the house.
Form here you start to lose yourself into the Chora’s tiny paths and the Serifos summer. If you are looking for the perfect vacation exploring the picturesque narrow streets, authentic and peaceful lifestyle, this is the ideal location.
