Come experience Texas!!! Located in the middle of the Texas Hill Country, the Wimberley retreat will not disappoint! Wineries, Breweries & Distilleries, oh my!! Some of the oldest Texas Dancehalls are less than an hour away. The famous Gruene Hall is 35 min away. Fredericksburg, Austin and San Antonio less than an hour away. Jacobs Well swimming hole, the blue hole and the Blanco River all less than 5 miles. Float the Guadalupe or the Comal River...about 30 min away. Have a mexitini at Inoz while listening to a live band, head down the road to Mercer Street Dancehall and dance the night away or down the Devils Backbone to the Devils Tavern. Get some great Texas Barbque at The Saltlick. The possibilities are endless.

The home is a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. I listed it as 5 beds because there are 2 sleeper sofas and it wouldnt let me type that. King in the master, queen in a 2nd bedroom, queen in the 3rd bedroom. 2 queen sofas in the living room. There is a spacious deck with a hot tub. It is in a patio home community, but is on 3 lots, so it is pretty secluded. The deck overlooks a dry creek, it is a rocky 40 foot drop, so if you have kiddos, keep an eye out. Resident deer come up to feed daily, and if you pop some microwave pop corn, it tends to bring a fox or two out.

There is no TV, but there is wifi. I will tell you that is one thing that people tend to love about it. It makes for more deck and hottub time for your group after a day of exploring! Check in info will be given after confirmation. No stairs, one level.

The neighborhood is a golf course community. You can walk to the golfcourse and play a round. The beautiful cypress creek runs through it. You can also walk to the Lodge at Cypress Falls swimming hole and eat at the Verde Cypress restaurant.

Hi! My name is Annette, I have a home in beautiful Wimberley Texas. Smack dab in the middle of the Texas Hill Country. 35 minutes to Austin, 1 hour to San Antonio and 1 hour to Fredericksburg. I love traveling anywhere. I enjoy hosting people coming to Texas for the first time. I am within one hour of 5 of the oldest dancehalls in Texas. Wimberley is known for it's hospitality, live music, fantastic food, beautiful wineries and rustic craft breweries.
