In our charming accomodation you returns to the early 1900s where it is a pleasant stay where relaxation is central. You can park for free at the home and ze have an excellent busconnection to the old city center of Ghent ( 2,3 km) and the trainstation (1,5 km)

Rooms Our charming accommodation has two bedroom on the first floor, both with their specifically chosen charm designs and adjacent communal toilet. The rooms are decorated with warm retro style, have flat screen TV with DVD and free internet. Kitchen facilities The fully equipped kitchen is located on the ground floor. Besides stove with oven and fridge also a dishwasher are fully at your connexion so you if you can offer also calls itself this gourmet meal or breakfast. The presence of barbecue at our garden overlooking the garden also helps to order especially during the summer to make your stay more enjoyable. Bathroom On th ground floor you will find the bathroom with has a bathtub, sink, shower and toilet. Another showroom-room is situated at our sauna-area and has a big rain shower and toilet. Relax On our attractively furnished terrace you can enjoy the outdoors in peace. The presence of barbecue also helps to order especially during the summer to make your stay more enjoyable. Both the bedrooms and the lounge are flat screen TVs with DVD available. Or will you prefer your own music on our old piano? Or enjoy you prefer one of our books we have available through our exchange system in exchange library? In our pool area you can also play a game tapbiljart or use one of our other group games which can provide the needed relaxation. Our infrared sauna and adjoining rain shower provide the necessary spa relaxation. In our covered lounge area you may come to rest after a sauna session in the present lounge seats. Lounge area with flat screen TV connection and Wi-Fi connection are available for our guests. Parking: There is a park behind the house and you can park for free in the street.

We live in Ghent, centrally located in Belgium and easily accessible, both by car and by public transport. Several buses stop in the immediate vicinity so you can discover the cultural, culiniare offers of the historic center of Ghent. The train (Dampoort station) is a 20 minute walk. Also at about 50 m from our accommodation S&R Rozebroeken swimming pool complex is situated with wellness and subtropical and olympic swimming pools waiting for your visit.

Rumkommen

easy busconnection to the city center of Ghent and trainstation ( busstop at the end of our street , ca 100 m walk). Bij train it is about 1:00 h drive to Brughe, Antwerp en Brussels. The Nordsee beach is also about 1 h drive away We are about 3 h trainride away from Amsterdam and Paris. We are close to busstops from companies like FLIBCO and FLIX busses that drive between several international cities in Europe.(busconnexion to Flibco and Flix busses)

Wir sind Cindy und Lucien, wir sind Mitte 40, wir sind nicht verheiratet und ohne Kinder. Ich bin Garten-/Landschaftsarchitekt und Stadtplaner Lucien arbeitet als Wirtschaftsingenieur bei Arteco (Chevron). Wir sind leidenschaftliche Reisende und entdecken gerne neue Länder und Regionen. Wir lieben es, die Natur und fremde Länder zu entdecken. Neben dem Reisen sind wir auch begeisterte Tiefseetaucher und lieben es zu kochen und zu essen. Wir tauschen seit 2015 Haustausch und haben bereits einige fantastische Haustausch-Erfahrungen gemacht. Wir hoffen auch, in Zukunft mit anderen reisebegeisterten Social People in Kontakt zu kommen. Wir denken, dass es der ideale Weg ist, lokale Kulturen auszutauschen und neue Stiche zu entdecken. Wir haben viel Zeit und Energie in die Renovierung unseres Zweitwohnsitzes gesteckt und hoffen, Häuser mit Menschen tauschen zu können, die dies respektieren, so wie wir es für Ihr Zuhause tun werden. Unser Zuhause ist, wenn wir das Haus nicht tauschen, als Bed and Breakfast in Gebrauch. Wir bevorzugen den nicht gleichzeitigen Haustausch oder den Austausch mit Gästepunkten.
