I live in a loft built in an old tobacco factory. The building dates back to 1915 and was converted into lofts in 2008, keeping the original façade and high concrete ceilings. I decorated my loft with travel souvenirs, it gives a beautiful look that is both urban and warm.
Der Raum
My loft is 550 square feet. There is an unenclosed room with a queen size bed. I also have a sofa bed in the living room. Technically 4 people can sleep there, but it is ideal for a couple or a person travelling alone. The kitchen is well equipped... I love to cook! There is a bathroom with a large shower. I am well equiped to watch tv online with a 42 inches TV connected to an apple TV and a good wifi connection.
In the building, you will also have access to a gym, a yoga room, a rooftop pool with a superb view of downtown Montreal (in the summer), 2 rooftop terraces with barbecue and an urban rooftop cottage with movie theatre, pool table, babyfoot table, gas fireplace, toilet, mini kitchen and wifi.
Gastzugang
My loft is located on the ground floor and there are a few steps to access it. I wrote that my condo was suitable for infants/children because I really have no problem having infants/children in my home, but I still want to point out that I don't have a room for children or kids' games. I leave it up to the parents to decide if it is still convenient for you.
Anmerkungen
Please note that I have a small dog. You won't have to share the condo with him and I do a thorough cleaning before receiving visitors, but I'd rather advise you in case you have a severe allergy.

Nachbarschaft
Welcome to the historic neighbourhood of St-Henri! I strongly encourage you to take the time to visit it. Tucked between Westmount and the Lachine Canal, Saint-Henri is a study in contrast, with a population as diverse as its architecture. Factories turned high-end condos, picturesque back alleys and impressive stone monuments dot this former bastion of Montréal’s French-speaking working class, now home to a multicultural mix of urban professionals, artists and families.
You'll find numerous restaurants on Notre-Dame Street. From the most gastronomic (including the famous Joe Beef) to the small local greasy spoon frequented by the working class. On Notre-Dame Street you will also find local bars where you can have a drink. I strongly advise you to complete your gourmet journey by visiting the Atwater Market, one of the city’s largest farmer’s markets. Don't forget to take a walk or ride a bike along the historic Lachine Canal.
Is it obvious that I love my neighbourhood?
Rumkommen
To visit the city, I recommend that you take the subway. My loft is located 5 minutes walking distance from the Lionel Groulx metro station where the 2 main metro lines run (green and orange).
If you have a car and want to get out of the city, my condo is right next to highways 20 and 15.

Karine
Hello, everyone! I'm a 37-year-old professional. I worked for several years as a journalist at Radio-Canada, before leaving my job and starting a tourism business with my mother. What a great adventure!
Since I'm my own boss, I'm flexible enough to travel between November and March. All I need is a good Internet connection. Between April and October, I can hardly leave the country, but I can lend my loft if you wish to visit Montreal. I'm quite open to discovering different destinations!
I look forward to hearing from you! (in French, English or Spanish)
