Our house is at the edge of one of the largest cities in the world. Yet it's a quiet space with a large garden, and a forest at the end of the road. There's a train station 3 minutes away which goes straight into the centre of London, so you can really explore the city. We live in a vibrant neighbourhood with pubs, supermarkets, bakeries and excellent fruit and vegetable shops.

We have a large kitchen-dining room with a well-equipped kitchen. From here you can open up the bifold doors and enjoy the outdoors in good weather. We have a separate sitting room with a comfy sofabed, television and a piano. We have three main bedrooms: (1) main bedroom with superking bed and en suite shower room which looks out over the gardens; (2) children's bedroom with bunk beds and toys; (3) a small single bedroom. We also have a large office room which can be used for sleeping with a spare mattress. We have a utility room for washing and storing muddy boots, and a downstairs bathroom. Outside we have cycle storage if you want to bring bikes. Our house is very child-friendly with lots of toys, bikes and a trampoline. We also have a high chair for toddlers and a child's chair for younger children, as well as lots of plastic plates and bowls! Parents of very young children should be aware that there is a small pond in the garden.

Nachbarschaft
We live in a quiet residential neighbourhood, and we know our neighbours well. At the end of our road is Epping Forest; a large forest which stretches up to Epping in Essex. The area is great for running around with energetic children, riding bikes or going for a long walk. We can help with suggestions for where to walk or leave you some maps.
In the main street nearby, there are lots of shops and restaurants including several takeaways. We're very happy to advise on the best places for coffee, bread and pizza!
Zu mir nach Hause kommen
Our nearest airport is Stansted, but all London airports are fairly easy to get to thanks to the excellent London public transport. Our local train station runs to Liverpool Street where you can connect to the Elizabeth line (to Heathrow) or to other tube lines. You can also walk or take the train to Walthamstow Central where the Victoria Line tube starts.
We are happy to provide numbers for reliable local taxi services if needed.

Our local high street is 5mins walk away with a supermarket, library, bakery and two pubs. We have several playgrounds nearby.
More restaurants and cafes are in Walthamstow village which is a 10-15min walk.
Walthamstow Central has a cinema and lots of shops. You can get there by walking 15mins or taking the overground train (2mins). It also has a fresh produce market Tues-Sat.

We are a friendly family from London: Gabriel, Georgia and our two sons Ossian and Joel. Georgia is an academic at a London university. Gabriel is a classical singer and has performed all over the world. We love to travel and we are particularly keen on walking, swimming and cycling.
