Currently interested in shorter local swaps during school breaks, Minnesota mid-July 2023, and Korea mid-Fall 2023 or Summer 2024(my husband’s family is from there and we're hoping to visit for a few weeks). We are also open to LOTS of other places. We are adventurous people- make us a proposal!
We live in a very cozy four bedroom 2 1/2 bath home just outside of Baltimore Maryland. Our home has a working fireplace a Jacuzzi a thriving garden in the spring summer and fall, a super snuggly cat and five chickens that provide lots of entertainment and delicious eggs! Our house is a 20 minute drive from downtown Baltimore or a 1 Hour drive or train ride from DC. We are a 2hour train ride to Philly and a 3.5 hour train ride to New York City. We have a car we are willing to loan as well. We are close to the mountains of Western MD, the famous Appalachian trail, the Chesapeake Bay, and so much more! We love our city and are excited to share it with you!
Things you could do while you're in Baltimore:
- Crack some crabs and drink some Bohs (google it)!
- Visit the American Visionary Art Museum
-Ride the water taxi all around the city, stopping at historic and interesting destinations
- Walk to the top of Federal Hill and take in the view of the Harbor
- Visit Fort McHenry National Monument, Harpers Ferry National Park, Shenandoah National Park, or one of the many local state parks nearby (we have so many recommendations to provide)
-Walk some miles on the Appalachian Trail
- Take the train to NYC
-Take the train to Washington DC and see some of the Smithsonian museums and the National Mall
- Watch an Orioles baseball game in Camden Yards
- SO MUCH MORE!
Our home is fully equipped for life with small children (ours are currently 4 and 6); lots of toys, books, a large play area in our backyard with a tree house and jungle gym. We could also borrow things like a high chair and pack and play from friends if you are coming with smaller children.

We have four small bedrooms, three with queen beds and one with a twin over full bunkbed, and 2 full baths (one with a jacuzzi tub and stand up shower), and one half bath. Our home comes with a very friendly cat, 5 chickens, lots of houseplants, and gardens in the growing season (April-October).
Gastzugang
Our door has a keypad and we will also leave a key for you to use while you're staying at our home.
Anmerkungen
While staying at our home, we kindly request that you care for our chickens and cat (about 10 minutes total each day), and give our gardens some water 2-3x per week depending on the time of year.

We live in a historic suburb of Baltimore on the Northwest side of the city. There is a community pool across the street from our house that we are members of and guests at our home would also have the option of using the pool May-August.
Zu mir nach Hause kommen
Our home is accessible by car and we are a 15 minute drive from Baltimore-Washington International airport. Those without a car could get here via Uber or Lyft and there is a metro station about 20 minutes walk from our house that will take you to Baltimore where you could connect to trains to DC, Philly, NY and beyond.
