The lower east side (LES) is a very original neighborhood. One of the first neighborhoods that people settled into when arriving via Ellis Island. Of course, like many areas in Manhattan, things have changed but you can still find some of the history here. Like the Tenement Museum, The Eldridge Synagogue, and various old Churches. I am located about 1 mile walk to Chinatown, Little Italy, Soho, East Village and a bit furhter to the West Village. A quick bus ride will get you to Union Square.

You can arrive to NYC via any of the 3 airports, JFK, Newark or Laguardia.

I am about a 5 minute walk to a Trader Joe's for food shopping as well as a small grocery store right across the street. There is a CVS within 2 minutes. and lots of restaurants in the neighborhood, movie theater and other shopping. The 14A or 14D bus is my go to transportation which gets you right across the street from where I live. The F, J and M train are an 8 minute walk.

I love meeting people visiting my city and can be available for a variety of social activities such as drinks, meals, walks, etc. I also maintain a spreadsheet with information about the city which I can share. Things like free times to visit museums. Roof top access and more.
