General overview

Cozy Brick Cape Cod home located on a quiet residential street but close to major North-South (rt. 81) and East-West (rt.30) highways. Charming and historic small downtown Chambersburg with its Civil War history, charming shops restaurants, breweries, summertime fresh air market, and seasonal festivals. Home to Wilson College and 20 minutes from Shippensburg University, and 30 minutes from Gettysburg College. Rail Trail for bike riding and Falling Spring stream for trout fishing. Hershey, Pa. with its international antique car events, theme park, and famous chocolate factory is an hour drive. Gettysburg and several other major Civil War battlefields are close by. Two ski resorts are within a 1/2 hour drive and also offer summertime sports and hiking. Enjoy our beautiful state parks, several local public golf courses, local craft breweries and wineries, and local year round festivals. Within 1 1/2 hrs. of 3 major international airports. Grocery, liquor store, and restaurants within walking distance.

The space

Charming, renovated, bright, cheerful, and cozy brick Cape Cod home with all living on 1st floor. Hardwood floors throughout with a carpeted bedroom. A compact and well stocked kitchen enjoys a large island with bar height seating. The bedroom has a queen size bed and is where the washer/dryer is tucked away. Living room seating includes a comfortable sofa and chair from which to read any of the shelved books or watch your favorite show on the tv. Enjoy beautiful days on the walk out deck eating a meal or just sitting and relaxing.

Guest access

All living is on the first floor with two steps up to the front porch and 1 more step up through the front door. Space has access to the basement should tools or extra storage space be necessary.

Second floor of home houses a single tenant and is fully sperate living from the first floor.

Getting to my home

My home is located within 1- 1 1/2 hours drive of 4 international airports (Dulles, Baltimore, Washington DC, Harrisburg). Hagerstown Airport is located 15 minutes to the south. Chambersburg is located in South-Central Pennsylvania and close to the Maryland border. We are located on the crossroads of two major highways. Route 81 which travels north and south, and route 30 which travels east and west.

Nearest airport

4 International Airports (Dulles, Baltimore, Washington DC, Harrisburg) are within 1-1 1/2 hours drive. Hagerstown/Washington County Airport is a 15 minutes drive.

Getting around

A rental car will be necessary for travel. Arrangements may be possible for the use of my vehicle. Uber is available. Grocery and restaurants are within walking distance.
