General overview
Located on the 4th floor with panoramic views of Edinburgh. The building has a lift and a car park to the rear. It is located in a quiet street but close to all amenities. Leith is the port area of Edinburgh and is known for its cafes, pubs and restaurants. The city centre is easily accessed by bus or a 30 minutes walk.
The space
Open-plan living and kitchen area that leads into an office which can be used as a third bedroom. The main bedroom has a king size bed and an en-suite shower-room. The 2nd bedroom contains a double and a single bed. Both bedrooms are very quiet as they are located to the back of the property. There is a family bathroom and an additional toilet.
Guest access
The flat is located on the 4th floor of a modern block and has a lift and a car park. However, it is not suitable for wheelchair access as there are 4 or 5 steps from the street door to the the lift.
Notes
The office/third bedroom has a pull-out bed which is quite comfortable, but we also have self-inflatable mattresses if preferred. Although it is our main residence, we can be flexible with dates as we can stay with family. We have a large attic so will de-clutter the place for our visitors

Neighbourhood
The flat is located in a quiet street in Leith, which is the port area of Edinburgh and 1.8 miles (3 km) from the city centre. Leith is known for the wide range of cafes, pubs and restaurants. There are three large supermarkets within a 10 minutes walk and a smaller one 5 minutes away, as well as a range of local shops.
Nearest airport
Edinburgh airport is 10 miles away and can be easily reached by public transport.
Getting around
Because of tram works at the end of our street, the usual bus service has been disrupted and you need to go further afield. However, there is still a good service about 5 minutes away and an even better one if you walk 10 minutes to Leith Walk. There is a car park available to guests at the back of the property. The tram is due to become operational in the spring of 2023 and will offer direct access to and from the city and the airport.
