General overview
Welcome to our beloved home in a very nice neighbourhood in Amstelveen/Amsterdam. Our home is nicely located close to the Amsterdamse Bos and Amstelpark (both favourite places for families, kids and active adults) and within biking distance or direct access by public transport to the canals, Museumplein, Van Goghs/Rijks Museum, Vondelpark, Nemo, Rai, etc.
We personally moved here to live life on a bike so we love doing everything by bike. Public transport is also very reliable and well connected from home.
The space
The house is around 130 sqm and it is located at the southern border of Amsterdam. It has 2 bedrooms and an office area. One bedroom has a queen-size bed and the other bedroom has a bunk bed. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower in it and a toilet. The living room is spacious with nice green views from all windows and lots of light. Our garden delights us with daily raspberries during summer, and we planted blackberries and Japanese berries to enjoy the coming season. Additionally, we have a fig tree. The garden is not always accessible from inside the house (depends on the time of the year) but it is always accessible from the back door.
There is free parking in front of the house as well as a private garage for bicycles and other items.
Two major supermarkets in the mall right in front of the house as well as a pharmacy, restaurants, and other things.
*We also offer the possibility for a 5th person to stay on a high-quality inflatable bed.
Guest access
Access is via ground floor. The house is 3 stories so living room and rooms are upstairs.
We can share bikes upon agreement.

Amsterdamse Bos (wading pools, Animal Farms, Kayaking), Amstelpark, Amstel River, Museumplein (Van Goghs/ Rijks, etc), Leidseplein, Amsterdam Towers, This is Holland, Amsterdam Zuid, fast access to Schiphol and Rai. Biking day trips to Volendam, Edam, Monickedam, Abcoude and other beautiful surrounding villages. Muiderslot (casttle). Of course also by public transport.
Very nice Dutch BEACHES within 33-40 minutes. (Bloemendaal, Zandvoort, Noordwijk, etc)
