Neighbourhood

Opposite the house is the local cricket field and tennis courts which can be hired out for a small fee. There is also a local swimming pool and library in the vicinity. Plympton castle ruin is also a short walk away. It is a very convenient place to live as everything you need is within walking distance. Only a short drive away are endless beaches, moorlands and countryside. You can cross over into Cornwall in just 15 minutes and visit some beautiful places which I will include in the description. The main hospital is also only a 20 minute drive away.

Getting around

There are many bus routes in to town from outside the house and also lots of local taxi companies. We may possibly be able to leave you with a car to get around but can not be guaranteed until nearer time of exchange.

Emma

Hi, we are a working family with 5 young children between us. We live on the beautiful South West coast of England which has an abundance of history and is only a short drive into Cornwall. We are looking to exchange our family home for one in the US Jul/Aug 21 to allow us to take the kids to Disney. We also have family in the Western Cape of SA so would be looking to swap there to. There are many more places we wish to travel whether that be on our own or with the children and we are very excited to get started with this all and welcome people into our beautiful period home.
