House in a very quiet residence at the end of a dead end in Arradon, in the Gulf of Morbihan, 5 minutes from the city center and 15 minutes from the beach on foot. It is a simple and warm house, very bright, practical, well equipped, especially if you like to cook. Ideal location for exploring the Gulf of Morbihan, the islands and southern Brittany in general (Carnac, Lorient, Pont Aven, etc.)
The space
On the ground floor: living room, dining room and very well equipped open kitchen, small shower room and toilet. Garage with washing machine and dryer. Terrace and garden.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet.
2 beds of 90 in the master bedroom, which can be combined or separated, 1 bed of 140 in the second bedroom.

Small residence of houses, 5 minutes from the village. All local shops and supermarket, market twice a week, several restaurants, bike rental. Marina at the tip of Arradon (25 minutes on foot), rental of boats, kayaks, paddles.
Vannes 15 minutes by car or bus.

Very easy access by car and parking in front of the house. Vannes station (TGV from Paris in 2h 30) then bus to Arradon (20 / 25 minutes).

Town center 5 minutes walk, supermarket 10 minutes walk, beach 15 minutes walk. SNCF station in Vannes, bus service to Arradon. Vannes 15 minutes by car.

We loved Arradon! Spending 10 days in Armelle’s and Alain’s house on the Gulf of Morbihan was very relaxing and a perfect holiday. Our hosts provided a lot of information about things to do in the area, which was very useful. The house is very cosy and quiet, with lots of light and a nice garden. It is well equipped with everything one might need. We really liked the location, only a few minutes’ walk from the village centre of Arradon (with several nice restaurants, bars, bakeries, and a small grocery shop). We particularly enjoyed the live music on the village square on Wednesdays, with many people, young and old, dancing together. There is a major supermarket about 10 min walk in the other direction, and Vannes is only a 20 min bus ride away. There are several beaches in walking distance from the house, and the whole area is great for walking and cycling (there is a great bike hire shop in the village, from where we hired electric bikes for a week at a reasonable rate). The islands in the Gulf are easy to reach by boat and there are many quiet beaches, even during the holiday period. Vannes is an interesting historic town with lots of activities during the summer months. We would gladly come here again to explore the area further. -
Quite simply, perfect. Alain & Armelle’s house in the Gulf of Morbihan is the ideal place for relaxing and enjoying the many delights of this beautiful region. As a holiday house, it has just right balance between being simple to run and yet very comfortable & stylish; we enjoyed every minute of our time there. Arradon itself is a charming little town, with twice-weekly markets, and everything you need is close at hand. This is a fascinating area, steeped in history and natural beauty: we were there for two weeks and it wasn’t enough! -
We had a pleasant time in the house of Armelle and Alain. It was specious with a nice garden, perfect to rest after a hot day. Arradon is a nice village, the center is reachable by foot in about 10 minutes, you will find some shops and restaurants and .. a nice market. We did enjoy this exchange.

We are recently retired, we like to travel and we like the idea of traveling by exchanging with other families our projects, our houses, our tastes, our experiences. We have rented many times through Airbnb and completed three exchanges on PLU in 2021 and 2022, which we really liked and we are very eager to multiply the experiences. Our house in Arradon is a second home to which we are very attached, it is simple, well equipped, especially in terms of the kitchen if you like to cook, practical and comfortable. It is located in the Gulf of Morbihan which is a magnificent region, very close to Vannes, a very pleasant town. Arradon is a small town on the edge of the gulf, you will find all the necessary shops there. It is a perfect starting point for exploring the gulf and the islands, walking on the coastal paths, renting a boat, a paddle, swimming... The hinterland is also very beautiful and you will find many cultural possibilities in the region.
