Neighbourhood
We live in a child-friendly, really nice, international and despite the central location also very quiet neighborhood.
There are in walking distance 3 beautiful children playgrounds for children up to 14 years.
Bicycle paths in the immediate vicinity (Pegnitzaue)
Supermarkets, pharmacies and petrol stations, as well as doctors and pediatricians are within 5 minutes by car.
All public transport is nearby. The bus to the Nuremberg Main Market is located in 1 minute walking distance
and you reach the city center in 20 minutes.
Nearest airport
The airport is 4.7 km (2.9 miles) from our house. It's a 9-minute drive by car or taxi.
Getting around
The city of Nuremberg is located in the north of the state of Bavaria. The cityscape is characterized by medieval architecture such as the fortress walls and towers of the old town. On the northern edge of the old town rises above the red tiled roofs of the Kaiserburg.
The Kaiserburg and Albrecht Dürer are inextricably linked with Nuremberg, but there are many other attractive sights to discover: the picturesque old town with its historic ensembles, the imposing Old Town churches and romantic winding lanes, the deeply hidden rocky paths like also the famous St. Johannisfriedhof or the Nuremberg Zoo.
