We offer the ability to have a town house in Melbourne with easy access to all Melbourne has to offer: restaurants, shopping, sport, history.
We also offer our second house in Geelong, which is about 1 hours drive away from Melbourne and is the largest city outside Melbourne. Geelong is on the coast and opens up the great Ocean Road and South Eastern Victoria as well as cities like Bendigo and Ballarat - old gold mining areas full of history. With our two houses we can be very flexible in arranging swaps. We may offer a car as part of the swap.
Glen Iris is a well developed suburb of Melbourne, very pretty with lots of trees and gardens. It is also very close to some great shopping areas, and freeways to the country areas as well as good public transport. There is a direct tram line into the city with a stop 200 metres from the house. Gardiner railway station is a 5 minutes walk.We have a large swimming complex a few minutes walk. For sporting lovers the famous MCG ground is only a short drive away. For those keen on eating out there are lots of restaurants nearby and the well known areas of St Kilda and South Yarra are short drives away also. For culture lovers the galleries, theatres and museums are close by.
There is tram stop about 200 metres from the front door which allows easy access into the city of Melbourne which takes about 30 minutes. It is very simple to use trams to travel around Melbourne to go to the major sites.
We recommend that you have a car for our Geelong property which is not well served by public transport. However this will allow you to visit the Bellarine Peninsula and the Great Ocean Road easily.
The space
Our house in Glen Iris has 3 bedrooms with a pullout couch in the third bedroom. It is a double bed size but is best for 1 person. All bedrooms have a bathroom.
Our townhouse is on 3 levels with a garage in the basement and is not suitable for anyone with difficulties with stairs as there is no lift.
Our house in Geelong has two full sized bedrooms and the third bedroom has a pullout couch which is best for one person. We can offer inflatable mattresses for young children. Our Geelong house is single level.
Guest access
There is a large patio off the living area and two outdoor areas on the ground floor. The second bedroom also has a balcony.

Getting to my home
Our Glen Iris home is located about 45 minutes from Tullamarine Airport if there are no traffic problems! Taxis are available at the Airport. There is also a bus going into Southern Cross from the Airport. We are well serviced by public transport via trains and trams. From the city you take the Glen Waverley line train to Gardiner from either Flinders Street or Southern Cross stations or the number 72 tram going to Camberwell which can be accessed along Swanston Street.
