The space
Located between the Périgord Noir and the Quercy, our house, very bright, welcomes you on a raised ground of 1200 m2.
Ideal for families, we provide a barbecue, a trampoline, bicycles and outdoor games...
It has, upstairs, 3 bedrooms and a bathroom-WC (bath):
- 1 master bedroom with 1 double bed
- 1 bedroom with 1 double bed + a double sofa bed
- 1 child's bedroom with a single bed
(Possibility of additional mattresses if needed)
On the ground floor, the kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, an oven, a microwave and an American fridge.
- 1 living room - dining room (TV) with direct access to the terrace and the garden.
- 1 bathroom and 1 toilet.
We also provide the washing machine, a dryer, a computer with WI-FI.
Our house is a very well-lit.
On the ground floor: the living and dining room, kitchen, bathroom, WC

Guest access
Our house is not accessible to people with reduced mobility. Indeed, we have a staircase of 14 steps which leads to the bedrooms upstairs.
Notes
We have a lovely Cocker Spaniel, Harry, who will be looked after by our family during the home exchange.
In addition, we also have a fish named Jean-Luc which requires little care, only feeding it in the morning.
In summer, our vegetable garden (organic!) is at your disposal; watering is automatic.
You just have to water the few plants on the terrace. THANKS !

Our house is located 10 min walk from the city center and 5 min from a supermarket.
The Dordogne river passes through Souillac and gives access to many water activities (fishing, swimming, canoeing).
Many tourist sites nearby:
Lot of places of interest:

- Rocamadour,
- Padirac chasm,
- Lascaux IV
- Castles of the Dordogne valley (castles)
- Collonges la Rouge.
Our House is in a residential area, very quiet.
The town center is about 10 min walking distance.
A supermarket is about 5 min walking distance.
Souillac is located at the limits of Perigord Noir and Quercy.
This is an ideal place for those who like nature (river, forest), history (castles, caves) and food (foie gras, duke, strawberry, cheese).
Getting around
Our house is located 10 min walk from the city center and 5 min from a supermarket.
Brive-Vallée de la Dordogne Airport is 20 km from the house. (A person from our entourage can pick you up if necessary). It notably serves Paris-Orly and London-Stansted.
Souillac station is 750 m from the house (Paris-Toulouse line).
A car is essential to be able to take full advantage of our magnificent region.

Marie-Pierre, Jack, Eléonore & Louis
Hello everyone !
We are a French family of 4 including 2 teenagers Eléonore (16 years old) and Louis (13 years old). Eléonore is passionate about guitar, swimming and traveling, especially in English-speaking countries. Louis loves sports and animals.
Jack is a firefighter and I am a private nurse. We like both the city (museums, cultural outings) and the countryside to practice outdoor activities such as hiking, running for Marie-Pierre and cycling for Jack. We are passionate about reading, traveling and meeting new people. We discovered home exchange more than 2 years ago and have already done 8 wonderful exchanges in France but also in England, Canada and the United States, our favorite country.
We are a very respectful family and will take care of your home as if it were our own! We are waiting for your proposals! And hope to find on this site the values that make home exchange an extraordinary travel experience!
