LARGE FAMILY HOME IN THE HEART OF EUROPE

The space

We are happy to propose you our house ; an old lady built in 1903. We bought it in 2014 and we completely renovated it. Our garden is a real paradisiac place where children can play safely because it is not accessible from the street and hidden. One of the great assets of our house is a huge terrace for break or parties with the family. The house is 200 Sq with 4 ares of garden completely enclosed. On the ground floor, there are the living room, the reading room, the dining room overlooking the veranda to the terrace and the garden, a fully equipped kitchen, the first bathroom and the guest toilet. On the first floor, there are the master bedroom, the dressing room, the child's room, the huge games room, the second bathroom and a separate toilet. At this floor, all beds are master bed. All mattresses are of premium quality because it's very important for us. On the top floor, there are an office room, a separate bedroom, a bedroom TV lounge with new convertible sofa 2 places (bought in 2018 with quality Bultex bedding) and another separate toilet. In the basement you will find a laundry room with washing machine and dryer. We renovated and furnished the house in a family home style. Outside, a gas BBQ Weber is usable all the year. You can safely leave your car in our driveway. Otherwise, the on-street parking is free. Nous sommes heureux de vous proposer notre maison, une vieille dame de 1903 que nous avons acheté en 2014 et entièrement rénovée. Nous avons aussi transformé le jardin en un véritable coin de paradis dans lequel les enfants peuvent jouer en toute sécurité puisqu'il est non accessible de la rue et caché. Un des grands atouts de la maison est notre immense terrasse pour le repos ou les soirées en famille. La maison fait 200 m2 avec 4 ares de jardin complètement clos. Au rez de chaussée se trouvent le salon, la salle de lecture, la salle à manger donnant sur la véranda et la terrasse puis le jardin, la cuisine entièrement équipée, une première salle de bains et un WC séparé. Au premier étage se trouvent la suite parentale, le dressing, la chambre d'enfant, une immense salle de jeux, une deuxième salle de bains et un WC séparé. Au dernier étage se trouvent un bureau, une chambre séparée, une chambre salon télé avec banquette convertible 2 places (neuve avec literie de qualité Bultex) et un WC séparé. Au sous sol vous trouverez une buanderie avec une machine à laver et un sèche linge. Nous avons rénové et meublé la maison dans un style de maison de famille. A l'extérieur, notre barbecue au gaz Weber est utilisable toute l'année. Il est possible de garer votre voiture en toute sécurité dans notre descente de garage. Sinon, le stationnement est gratuit dans notre quartier.

Alsatian cuisine is rich, varied and reputed (31 Michelin-starred restaurants are in Alsace region) and of course at lot of very good traditional restaurants... You will probably put on weight !

Neighbourhood

Our home is located at Eckbolsheim, on the edge of Strasbourg city. Strasbourg city is very rich in discoveries, in both summer and winter (Européen Capital and famous Christmas Market). Eckbolsheim is a town with all amenities (supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, bakeries, banks...). All can be reached easily on foot, in complete safety. There is a bike path in front the house and along the Canal de La Bruche if you want to reach Strasbourg city center or discover the country side. (bicycles are available for 2 adults and one child). The bus stop is very closed (100 m. away in our street) and the tram station is located at 500 m. from our house. The main train station is located about 10 min. drive and Strasbourg-Entzheim airport is located about 15 min. drive. Linking Germany is very easy (15 min. far away). Thanks to the Pont de l'Europe bridge. Distances driven to Frankfurt am Main Airport is 2 hours, Stuttgart Airport is 90 min., Mulhouse-Bâle Airport is 90 min and Baden-Baden Airport is 50 min. Paris city and Paris CDG Airport are located less than 2 hours with the TGV. Europa-Park (1st European amusement park) is 45 min. drive from the house. All our neighbors are very nice people. We know them very well and they can help you if needed. Strasbourg est une ville riche de découvertes, en été comme en hiver (Capitale Européenne célèbre pour son Marché de Noël). Eckbolsheim est une commune avec toutes les commodités accessibles à pied (supermarché, pharmacie, restaurants, boulangeries, banques...). Vous y trouverez des ballades à faire à pied ou en vélo. La piste cyclable qui passe devant la maison ou le long du canal permettent de rejoindre Strasbourg à vélo (Nos vélos sont disponibles pour 2 adultes et un enfant). L'arrêt de bus se trouve à 100 m dans la rue et l'arrêt du Tramway à 500 m. La gare de Strasbourg est à 10 min. et l'aéroport de Strasbourg-Entzheim à 15 minutes. L'Allemagne est à 15 minutes via le pont de l'Europe. Les autres aéroports sont Frankfurt am Main Airport à 2 heures, Stuttgart Airport à 90 min., Mulhouse-Bâle Airport à 90 min et Baden-Baden Airport à 50 min. Paris et Paris CDG Airport sont à moins de 2 heures en TGV. Europa Park, 1er parc européen d'attractions est à 45 minutes de la maison. Dans le quartier, tous nos voisins sont des gens très sympathiques que nous connaissons très bien. Ils vous aideront en cas de besoin. Vous pouvez aussi découvrir toute l'Alsace en suivant la célèbre route des vins.

Getting around

There is a garden behind our home, totally secure without street access. One beautiful terrace to relax outside and have a romantic dinner with friends. We are living in a little corner of paradise. Our home is less than 15 min. by car to the city center, 10 min. from the train station and 15 minutes from Strasbourg-Entzheim airport.

Today we are pleased to offer you our house built in 1903, completely renovated in 2015. We are careful, orderly and we take care of your home as much as our own. Our daughter Alexine is a very wise young girl who has traveled with us since a young age, through the oceans.. We will be happy to meet you and show you the beauties of our beautiful region.
