General overview
A comfortable but simple house in a quiet neighborhood. It’s located about 20 minutes from downtown St. Louis.
The space
Our house has an open floor plan—the living room and dining room are part of the main living area. There is an office and two bedrooms upstairs with a third bedroom downstairs. There is a full bathroom both upstairs and downstairs. The yard is average-sized and behind the house is a (usually empty) parking lot, adding some privacy.

Neighbourhood
The house is located one block from a historic district and 2 blocks from a park next to a river. The historic district is full of restaurants and shops, and it hosts a variety of festivals throughout the year. St. Charles is one of the oldest settlements west of the Mississippi River and so has various points of interests for history lovers.
Getting around
Besides our car, there is limited public transportation around the city. There are many restaurants and speciality shops within walking distance. The nearest grocery store is about a 15-20 minute walk.
