Neighbourhood
We love our rough-around-the-edges Seattle neighborhood. Georgetown is a small neighborhood described as having mastered bohemian blue-collar chic with rail yards, antique shops, artists, young families and a creative "trailer park mall" every weekend.
Seattle's oldest neighborhood, tucked into an industrial section of the city, is now a destination for tourists and locals alike who come to discover good food, cool bars, wineries, breweries, and fun and creative activities all within less than a mile.
While this is generally a safe neighborhood we have lived in for 21 years, we feature exterior security cameras for additional peace of mind. There are no interior cameras.
Don't miss these highlights in and near the neighborhood: giant and historic Hat 'n Boots at Oxbow Park, wine tasting at Charles Smith Wines, Fran's Chocolates (especially a production tour!), the Museum of Flight, and the high end Starbucks Revere store in their corporate headquarters.
There are endless beautiful natural areas to explore from 10 minutes away to multiple hours away and water in every direction. Boating, hiking, swimming, skiing, etc.
Nearest airport
We are about a 15 minute drive from the Seatac International Airport.
Getting around
We are located just 5 miles south of downtown so you’ll have easy access to the business district, Pike Place Market, Space Needle, CenturyLink Field, T-Mobile Park, many museums and Seattle Aquarium.
Ride sharing is easy around our house and throughout Seattle.
Access to Sound Transit Light rail via 60 bus. From there travel to downtown, Columbia City, Capitol Hill, University District, and SeaTac Airport.
