Thank you Itunu for hosting us! Itunu was really great at communicating with us and helping us! If you have the opportunity to stay at one of her properties, she is great to work with. As a family of 5, we enjoyed having multiple bedrooms compared to cramming into a hotel room. Also really nice is that each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom. The housing development is very very safe - it has a main security gate to go through and then a second security gate for the specific smaller neighborhood inside the development. Both security gates are well staffed. When we told family and friends we were going to Mexico everyone was concerned about our safety. This home and Cancun are both very safe! All of the community spaces are very nicely maintained. The pool was relaxing and we bought pool toys at the Walmart. There is a playground and soccer field. Our oldest son plays competitive soccer and his favorite part of staying here was the pick up soccer games he played in. We enjoyed a day trips to Chitzen Itza and Isla Mujeres. Our oldest son took a surf lesson at Surf 360 and really enjoyed it. We went to a couple beaches in Cancun and rented chairs. For mass on Christmas, we went to the Catholic Church in the hotel zone - Parroquia de Christo Resucitado- as it had an English mass. The church is open air and unique architecture. We also wandered around the Vegas like spectacle in Cancun in the evening near CoCoBongo which was fun. Lots of adventures to last a lifetime! Thank you again, Itunu! -

I'm Itunu, mom of three awesome kids. I yearn to see the world, so my husband Femi humors me by playing along. 😆 Our kids just want to go where we go!
We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) and consider ourselves global citizens as we have multiple passports and residency across North America and Africa . My husband Femi and I are both IT professionals and can work remotely from anywhere in the world as long as there is good internet connection. We home school our kids Nathan (2013), Jedidiah (2015), and Christabelle (2020).
We love to travel across the world to explore other cultures, learn new languages, and try new food. We love beach areas or nature areas, so we can go hiking with the kids, discover and learn something new, and enjoy the beautiful world. We also love themeparks, so we are annual pass holders for Disney, Legoland, Seaworld, Sixflags, Crayola, and Science centers. We would love to meet other families with or without kids.
